what is the difference btw DIGI Broadband and  DIGI 3G?
the latter is without modem?
can i remove the sim card in HSDPA modem and plug it into 3g mobile phone?

im using broadband discover package, thinking of buying a 3g mobile phone..

its correct, i mean the speed you're getting. they didnt cheat you. the speed mentioned in subscription package is in mega bit unit, while our dl speed is count by kilo byte. try notice the words they use, 1Mbps, small b=bit, 8 times smaller than byte, which is used in our download speed, KBps, B=byte.

so 1000Kbps subscription package, divide by 8, = around 125 KBps, where you get 150 KBps dl speed, is actually higher than wat you are supposed to get.

its a common misunderstanding. ALOT of people dunno there is a difference there. with B and b representing different units.

argh.. only used for 3 days, last night get pretty lousy speed although with 3G connection(blue light WCDMA), today morning the sim card died on me. 5th day subscribing, used only 3 days. tried putting the sim card into my fone and as expected it says no sim.

what the hell. thought today morning speed will be back to normal who knows sim card died pula. dam fussy, got no digi store/centre around my area.

Yup me too. I called CS up in the middle of the night and they indeed said that they had a problem nationwide. Expected time to be recovered was in 4 hours (from 1am) but i was able to get connected in an hour+ later (2.30-3am i think).

Want to ask, i just subscribed to digi broadband today. Does the billing cycle falls on the 12th like everyone else? Means for my first month, my bill will be prorated, and so does my bandwidth?

I confirmed mine is on the 1st, my bill will be prorated for the first month, but bandwidth remains the same ...

So if my 3GB have been exceeded, then it will throttle to EDGE speed right? Or?

@anyone who uses digi E1550: do i need to register the Huawei warranty card inside the box of the modem for warranty? cause it says important on the card

EDIT: just used my digi bb to play online game for 1 hour plus, and the modem heats up until its almost untouchable. i quickly take out the sim card, scare that it could be the heat that damage my sim. anyone using E1550 face heating up problem? until the modem almost untouchable.

Maybe I might cancel my subscription soon, the money better use for elsewhere.
