All non-Malaysian cars are overpriced 'cos of the protectionalism mentality that the Govt have on its 'National' makes. Without all these, cars like the NHC and Vios will be sold about RM55k - RM60k. Who would complain about that anymore? (well, ppl will still complain..but much less) smile.gif

Booked my ride at jln 222 last sat & will get it by Jul  rclxm9.gif  I'm so excited.
I'd like to make a suggestion. blush.gif
It'd be great if the TS could furnish a check list on wad to check when getting thier new cars and what are the possible mods available like for e.g. tinting, pedal lock, auto-lock etc in the first page. It helps alot for a car noobies like me.  blush.gif
Btw, anyone tried charging thier iphone with the usb? Was curious to know. sweat.gif

You should come visit and register at your official portal. HC3Msia.com
You'll get alot of info over there and you can pose any questions to us over there. rclxm9.gif

I was offered RM600 disc at 1st but after some nego i manage to get him to give me free tint, door visor, boot tray, umbrella, shirt & a full tank of petrol.
Was thinking of doing the tint myself thou hmm.gif  then ask him gimme disc voucher or rebate.
*
Does that mean you got RM600 + Free Tint + Door Visor + Boot Tray + Umbrella + Shirt & Full Tank?
or just Free Tint + Door Visor + Boot Tray + Umbrella + Shirt & Full Tank?
If it's the former, then that's a pretty darn good deal
If it's the latter.. it's still a good deal.. but the Door Visor and Boot Tray will not be Original.
And the tint, dunno what type

I agree 100% with you on this.

But if that happens, then I doubt Honda would be as popular as it is right now. I think only in Malaysia/Thailand is Honda achieving such phenonmenal levels of popularity. Everywhere else, Honda is still popular but you will notice the other makes that is around. At least in China alone, other than VWs,  I see more new Camry and Teana (Nissan) than I see new Accords. As for the NHC, I've only seen that like twice over a period of the past week when I was there.
*
Well.. true to a certain extend.

But what we know is that P1 and P2 will definitely drop dead 'cos the Honda and Toyota will cost the same as the Waja, Persona SE etc.
and the general public with the same level of disposal income would opt for one of these brands instead.
A better bang for their buck.

While those City, Vios, Latio etc potential-owners will bump up their choices to Civics, Accords, Camry
or even non-Jap makes like Ford, VW etc like you said. But at the moment, that's not going happen.. shakehead.gif

Look at the specs comparison (simple one) that I did at HC3Msia.com. Maybe it'll help you somewhat nod.gif

All 4 also disc brake and the brake is very powerful... 140 to 0 in 5 sec... Tested and proven
*
Your car isn't like < 500 km mileage when you did that..i hope? blink.gif
Cos sudden braking when your car is new before you 'run in' your brake pads would be detrimental to urs brake rotors

I plan to change to leather seat and accept my SA offer around RM2700++ (it will add on to the total loan)
2 questions:
- is it worth it?
- is it hot under hot sun?
*
What color is the leather seat?
I do not recommend the leather seat because
1: It would render your Ultra Seat useless. The function where it repels water would be wasted
2: The leather seats I see usually doesn't look very nice (especially the cream / biege color one). Looks funny
3: It will get dirty fast. Hard to clean
4: Hot under the sun? Perhaps..

Conclusion
Not worth it. Quite expensive also. Last time Civic FD1 that I check.. RM2,500 only.

Don't quite like it. Reminds me of the AirMaster bodykit that they design for the Vios.

Not to sound rude, but if you have done your homework and read the 1st page, maybe you wouldn't be asking your question on the difference between both specs. Here you go. The differences between both specs:

Official Pricing (OTR):
S-Grade = RM 84,980
E-GRade = RM 89,980

Official Specifications:
To be available for both E-Grade and S-Grade, unless specified otherwise.

Actually I didn't see your message on this.
But well, my offer was RM800 rebate + Umbrella + T-Shirt
Not the best, but well.. it was still better than nothing

Jln 222, Tenaga Setia Resources Sdn Bhd

But ya.. negotiation skills would help too.
You might get more if you take a long tenure and higher amount loan amount
Cos the SA would get a cut from that.

can we reject the car?
You can opt not to take the car till they settle all the problems
But then it will take a few days. If you're fine with leaving your car there, then ok la i guess.
Usually what ppl do. take photos of all the defective parts..then come back another time
Cos sometimes no stock on things if something goes wrong

Most of the time it's fine. But yah, bring a camera and scrutinize the car well.
Btw, can you check this with your SA or the Service Centre (if your car is an E-Spec)

When you press the button to fold / unfold ur wing mirrors.. does the driver side (right) open / closes slower
than the left hand side one? Noticed my club members all have that problem (or setting)

yea mine too!

well, anyone has installed the front or rear stabilizer bar? i found the car is not stable and also quite floaty during high speed. Would prefer to install the stabilizer bar soon but no idea which should i go 1st.

anyone who has installed may share ur opinion? thanks  smile.gif
*
I guess it's a manufacturer design defect, perhaps?
Or a way to conserve the motor (slower movement)?
Heck, never mind..we're all in it..haha!

Will be installin' the 2-point strut bar and anti-roll bar soon.
But the floaty effect won't be helped much by the stabilizer bars.
That's typically for cornering and handling.
