Hahaha since we talking about tennis strings at the moment, here is a list I have composed of over the past years, but I will keep this list current:
Poly strings, I would recommend to other tennis kaki's (preference to people using Wilson k6.1 tour, but you can experiment on your own racket)
1.Technifibre Black code ( you can choose between 16,17,18 gauge naturally 16 gauge will last longer than 18 gauge, but 18 gauge will give you more feel and spin)
2.Gamma Zo Twist , current set up on my k6.1 tour, needs at least 2-3 hitting sessions before the strings come to life, at first they felt unresponsive and dead. This didn't bother me, carried on playing with them, now they give dish out mad spin, quite happy with them.
3.MSV Hex. Quite similar to Gamma Zo Twist but a bit softer, dishes out mad spin as well, doesn't need any breaking in period.
4.Pro Supex Blue Gear, this string was the 1st string that convinced me, that poly are here to stay, I think I tried this string in early late 2007, boy oh boy I was giving fellow singles/doubles player's fits as my dipping topspin shots were making pop their volleys up, and my partner had a easy time nailing people in their junk, lobs with this were spot on.The only thing I hated about this string was the COLOR! At the time, Blue was only available, now there is a white option.
5.Pro Supex Big Ace, this is another string that has access to fantastic spin, however this string is not that durable, lasted me a whole 3 weeks, pls note I play almost 25 hours a week ;-p
6.Pacific X Force, hmmm this string is a slight enigma, it dishes out mad spin, has great tension maintenance, it's quite durable, no string movement, but i can't put my finger on it, it just didn't feel comfortable as the other strings, please don't let this comment deter you from trying this string.
7.Topspin Cyberblue, this string is AMAZING! If you have arm, shoulder problems, this string is soft, has mad spin ,great control, but I only recommend this string to people, who like stringing their rackets at LOW tensions, only thing above 54lbs, and you lose some of the strings natural attributes.
If you have some strings that you would like to recommend, please share!
I didn't mention Luxilon not that its not a good string, but Luxilon doesn't maintain tension that well, and it loses its playability after a few hitting sessions, but if you can afford it, more power to ya.
