The main difference of Iphone 3g and 2g is Iphone 3g has 3g function and GPS, but I really wonder why still a lot of peoples change to Iphone 3g with the double price of Iphone 2g. To show off? To feel better? Just to follow the technology?

Because I couldn't find a reason why buy Iphone 3g when it is SOOOO expensive than Iphone 2g and most people in Malaysia don't really use the 3g yet. The screen is the same, all functions are same except 3g and gps and other minor differences.

And you see this video, Iphone 2g wifi is faster than Iphone 3g. But I heard that Iphone 3g is a lot faster than 2g, is it true?



I want to get an Iphone, just wonder why peoples are changing to Iphone 3g from 2g and want to make things clear before I decide to buy the 2g or 3g Iphone

Hope to get some nice feedback especially from those who change their Iphone 2g to 3g.
