We have a bad day in Miri. More than 20 officers from Forestry Dept., Council, Land Survey and Police came to BH in Luak Bay to inspect one BH. About 30 BH owners were there to Shaw support. BH owners invited to enforcers to sit down for a discussions and brief us on the procedure and requirements of their Inspections. We objected to their removal of nest with eggs and chicks killed , a standoff ensure for about an hour. Miri state Assembly Representative for Pujut was called to ease the situation and he promptly arrived within 20 mins. Thank you YB Andy Chia !

After another hour it was agreed that none of the nest with eggs and chicks will be removed or kill. A small number of officers and owner went into the targeted BH. Few nests were remove and placed in plastic bags. All these went on in a civil manner.
The officers were polite explaining they are merely doing their jobs. They were also reminded by the BH owners that we are all fellow Sarawakians and are not criminals and only committed an offence under the wild life act. As most of the officers some Bumis mostly are Iban, Orang Ulu all class as OTHERS. They were reminded that what we are peacefully protesting to protect our investments is exactly what they were fighting for years for their NCR land.

A total of 5 BH were inspected till 5 PM. Tomorrow they will resume their inspection in Lutong Baru and City Center. I was also informed that similar operations were carried out in Kuching and Bintulu where nest with eggs were removed.
I will keep everyone posted and thanks for your support.

Sarawak cracks down on illegal swiftlet breeders

KUCHING: Sarawak Forestry Corporation has launched a crackdown on over 1,500 unlicensed swiftlet breeders.

The operations, which started in major towns yesterday, came after the deadline to the breeders to dismantle their illegal operations expired on Dec 31.


Crackdown: An enforcement officer dismantling the lock to one of the shophouses during the operation against illegal swiftlet rearing in Kuching yesterday.

Forestry head of corporate communications Zulkifli Baba Noor said building owners would be asked to produce valid licences for swiftlet farming when enforcement officers check their premises.

“If they fail to produce the licences, the officers will have to remove the sound systems, nests and eggs,” he told The Star.

He said 732 applications for swiftlet farming had been received and the relevant agencies, including Natural Resources and Environment Board, were studying the applications.

There are now only two licensed farms statewide.

An enforcement team, accompanied by police and City South Council health and enforcement officers, began its operations at a row of four-storey shophouses at Three Hills Park, Jalan Foochow, here.

Most of the upper floors of the shophouses have been used for swiftlet farming.

Sarawak Birdnest Imports and Exports Association president Tsai Mui Leong, one of the affected breeders, appealed for a five-year grace period to relocate their operations.

He said many breeders applied three months ago for licences to relocate but had yet to obtain the approvals.

“Give us the licences and we will comply with the various conditions.

“The authorities can come and inspect our operations monthly. This would be a win-win situation,” he told reporters.

Please help to support every HB owners who are victim of circumstances. Same may happen to you one day as the authorities decided to change the rules. Please do not become violent or or use opportion parties to fight our cause . Don't give the authority the opportunity to use force and the consequences can be too heavy to bare for you and your family , if they use a hammer to kill an ant and belief me they will as in other part of Malaysia.

Miri 9 more empty BH with only nesting planks were voluntarily opened up to a much smaller enforcement team. Few speakers and nest were removed.

Tomorrow they are moving to the hot spot in Beautiful Jade Center. As usual many BH owners were at hand to offer moral support.

We understand that In kuching some BH owners were slap with a compound fine of RM5000.00 ouch!

There were no untowards incident as I have stated we are just simlpe peaceful citizen receving the wrong end of the stick. I bet that H and mr. failed BH in KT is laughing their head off. HAHAHAHA!!!! Thank you !

This H guy during the GAHP in Kuching only managed to speak for 5 mins and his little computer ran out of juice and was told to end his talk and the mic. taken from him. So embarrassing. I would have protested and walk off yet he hang around trying to market his CDs and so on. Worse he got the indignity to came forward to received his token of appreciation (for nothing). My God sooooo! Malu.

I asked my two young friends in Kuching Alvin and Kelvin both met H in Pontianak If they know that H is in Kuching. Goodness me ! both PHUI AH! They chow far far. Unannounced H Call them from the Kuching airport on transit to Pontianak if they can pick him up. They being green and hospitable like all Sarawakian drop everything and rush to the airport took him down to the hotel pick him up again and bought him a Sea Food Dinner. After paying for dinner they were told that they had talked to him for 2 hours and his charges is RM200.00 each for the first hour and RM100.00 for subsequent hour a total of RM600.00. I will give you my friend’s tel. No. if you want to call me a lair. H boosted that he is making RM20.000 per months from his blog. So he is helping people and money to be donated to a Buddhist Temple HAHAH!!! My bubut.

Miri update;

!/2 a dozen BH opened up for insepctions 2 successful BH have some nests removed and taken away by Forestry Officer with acknowledgement. Most BH already have been cleared off amps. speakers and nest without chicks. Thousands of eggs and chicks were distroyed by BH owners for fear on the RM5000.00 compound fine.

Been informed that tomorrow operations will be on going. I understand that legal actions and injunctions have been filed in court to stop the ongoing operations on Mukah and also Miri. Hope for the best.

To many especially the Chinese swiftlets is a sacred and auspicious animals. If one make nest in one’s home or shop ,they are treasured and sure to bring good fortune. My analogy is the house or buildings already have good Fung sui to attract the swift lets in the first place. To destroy or chase them away because of being a nuisance will sure bring bad luck or even death to the household. For this reason no Chinese will dare to harm any swiftlets. A fung sui master in Sibu have predicted that the demolitions of bird house in Makah last year, Sarawak will surely suffer major disasters and those who are responsible for the killing of the swift lets will surely suffer death themselves or members of their family. Looking back now we see the worse flood through our Sarawak also landslide and thousands of people made homeless. With the second round of destructions of Bird House throughout Sarawak the Same Fung Sui master says that he predicted that worse disaster is yet to come. The sudden and unexplained death of fishes in the rivers is a sure sign that something major is going to happen soon.

I think that second round of bad karma have already started in Sarawak . Whole roll of shophouses were totally burned down to the ground in MUKAK this morning. Can this be just a coincident ?? we will see.

H was in cloud 9 and boasting and shouting from the top of the tallest building in Malaysia thinking this will give him the endorsements and a licience to con more Newbie like me.Little did he realized that it would back fired and exopsed his evil intent. I like to tell you a story about a little robin shall we call Hairy

Its was such a bad winter and Hairy the robin was perched on the lower branch of a very big tree (tukang gigi ) and dying from starvation. A bull came by the tree for shelter and drops a big patch of dunk right below the branch where Hairy was struggling to hold on to stay alive. Finally he was so weak that a small breeze swings the branch just so slightly and hairy fall right on the top of the cattle pat.

In desperation hairy dig in and feast on the cow dunk. Eating shit hairy quickly regains strength and quickly flew back on the tree but this time flew right to the very top of the tree and shitting down on the tree that gave him shelter a little while ago.


Like all robins he was singing on the top of his voice trying to attract all the girls around him. He was making so much noise that attracted the attention of a small boy who started to throw stones at him, but hairy thinking that he was so high up that the boy will not be able to hit him and continue singing . The boy tried harder and finally one good shot hit hairy’s large head as a result of rubbing them with toilet paper. The seriously injured hairy fall from the top of the tree and landed dead , right on the top of the BULL SHIT.

Your silent does not surprised me and I take it that you have now realized my intention when as a final and only one last chance to try to save the live and living of thousands in Sarawak and also that of the poor innocence Swift lets .I plead for an extension of two years to buy time. Can you see the harm done by hairy who now say that swift lets can be hand raise? Yes only 10% survived to proof a point at the expense of thousands of baby swift lets??? The situation right now in Sarawak where thousand from day old chicks and about to fly off age were removed to avoid the RM5, 000 compound fine and If even 1% can be save it is worth trying. If some ego centric monster give the impression that we can just take the chicks and relocate them to a standalones, stick some worms or chicken feed into the baby swift lets they will happily fly off then come back and build a new colony. Sad note my BH was raided today at 4.30 pm and statements taken. Supporters came by and I allowed only one to come in and see the Pak Han’s design and the number of marks after nest being removed from a six month old BH surprised the enforcement officers. Even with the surround sound removed 1 week ago one new nest of 1.2 inch high was found and the officer insisted to remove it for evident but another sympathetic officer stopped him saying this man tolong so many people and just put no evident found. So you see the good karma happens to good people also. Watch out hairy.

I started with a failed BH for 2 years and loss interest. With renewed interest H and Myself attended a seminar in KT by Pak Han. We were all newbie then, and I am still a newbie until I can walk out of my BH with 3 Kgs. Per month then I will be able to claim that I am a” expert”

I sent H photo of myself and B.L. using stress sound to test for suitable area to build BH and my home made BENZOOKA which cost only RM45.00 and doing a super job. I did not realize then H sends his Burmese friend who works in Miri to try twice to secure a copy of the CD from me without success.

In KT H tested for the first time the stress sound which he renamed DURESS and cleverly marketed them and took the bread from many consultants mouth both good and bad. I was given 2 cd by J.Lee who I met in KT and H was also given two copies one called S-out and the other called chasing and within weeks they were copied and renamed Talk To Me and Baby I Love You . Also on this trip Victor ask H to test I cd he bought in Pontianak and the result is awesome in Pontianak. This cd was also copied and sold as “Awesome” very clever.

No we have never been goooood friend and started to feel uneasy on his claim to helping newbie and any money made to be donated to Buddhists Temple and I realized how naive I was when I found out that he is a Muslim and his other name is Ismail. Donating money to a temple ?? MY BUBUT . I shared his sins as I bought him Red Wine in a served no pork Thai Restaurant. I had beer and he drank most of the wine. I am going to hell with him I Guess.

When I found that he toke two young newbie from Kuching for a ride who end up buying more then 4 thousand ringgit of product from him. I realized that this guys intention is not so noble after all. When H was provided free taxi, free seafood and then charged each of them 200 for the first hour and 100 for subsequent hour is the last straw and I need to expose this bogus sifu as I don’t want more newbie to be con by him of their hard earned money.

I have BC from Pak. Han’s collections which was originally from Java a year ago and Pak Han’s first version of Lacua (Its now under lock and key to prevent thieve ) . I don’t where he get his copy of BC . I was told on pretext to test the cd for client end up copy them and marketed for RM500.00 plus RM800.00 plus travelling to tune the amp. To guarantee it works. Such a clever disclaimer if the 500 package does not work or 1300 and kiss my ass sucker if it does not work bad luck need to buy new superior sound amp from him another 5000 ? See how con work ? WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP !!!

Then Approval kopi o, inspections kpoi o renewal of license kpoi o . belief me there will be no end. Beware the shutting of BH now is only the beginning of creating venue for extortions.

Worse Hairy even indentify (With Photos) which BH produce 100 Kg per month to alert would be robbers. I don’t know if he is receiving any commission or not ?? Can you see how dangerous it is to Shaw Hairy your investments. It’s ok if they just rob you but robbers are desperate these days they carry guns and you may lose your life.

Back from Medical mission ,while Mission went on well as usual Physically I was there but lack the usual high spirit and jovial self. I apologies to all my faithful volunteers for my the lack of drive and leadership on this mission.

I only lost a new BH with only 17 nests and do not in any affect my financial position. Yet I was depressed and have this strange feeling of emptiness. it’s like the favorite toy is taken away from a small boy. Dear readers can you feel the pain of hundreds of successful BH owners, Many have invested their retirement funds others are solely dependent on BN for their living and their children’s educations. All the hope, dreams and anticipations have suddenly gone down the drain? The prospect of losing their cars and home is very real. Thanks to all for Shaw of support for Sarawak BH owners. Miri inspections are ongoing. The enforcements officers term their actions as RAID. Very degrading as BH owners voluntarily opened their BH for inspections.
Forestry have inspected 4 BH including standalone in Serikei. In a blind panic to avoid the threatened compound fine,tens of thousands of chicks and eggs were destroyed by owners and seeds loss. If the harassed swiftlets decided to migrate to our neighboring countries, will killed a once lucrative alternative farming.

We cry for our brothers in this difficult time but let’s look forward. We appeal to the authority and are positive that the authorities will expedite our applications for proper licensing. The drawback is that many present owners do not own suitable land neither the finance to build a standalone BH and will take years to recover if ever.

I despised those that promote the idea of eco park at the expense of others miseries. Swiftlets cannot be moved or handfed like chickens. Everyone knows that the percentage of successful BH within a eco park is very small. Tell the developers that you will only make full payments when the BH has 300 nests. If they are confident that eco parks can be successful this clause should not be a problemand I will be the first one to pay them a deposit. With 300 nest they will keep for themselves. See what new story they can cook up to convince you jump into their trap.

I will not comment on subject I don’t know like the ongoing work of DL and team. DL We appreciate your willingness to come forward to help West Malaysian BH owners to get the best deal possible. DL beware that Hairy is trying to discredit you and blame you for his failed BH which he foolishly acknowledge. I have an email from him to this effect. I was once a young green wage earner with very little money I know how painful it is to be taken for a sucker. Please wake Up don’t be one. If they are not a protected species then does the law in Sarawak prohibits the keeping of non protected species of swiftlets.

Sarawak Wildlife Ordinance states that all Swift lets and Swallows are protected species.

Datuk Lord Cranbrook refers them to as “House Swift lets “and he named them as Fuchipagus Domesticus and as the name suggest they are domesticated like Cattle and chickens. I am in the opinion that he is trying to get through to the Forestry people that that these are not wild animals and cannot survive in the wild like their cave cousins and coexist with human and living near human to seek shelter and security. I hope that some scientist will do a DNA profiling on them and settle once and for all that these are very valuable farm animals.

I was also involved in apiculture for a couple of years in Kudat Sabah and producing 800 kg per year. Do we realize that when there is a honey flow we actually rob the bee hives of their honey? Bees have to visit 1.2 ml flowers and in the case of Sabah the honey dew from Acacia trees to produce I Kg of honey. Where as we only collect abandon nest from swift lets farm.

For all you know all these email of praise and appreciations are written by themselves. It’s just a sale tactics to trap unsuspecting newbie. Don’t be so naïve to think that they will tell you about their failure. Don’t believe in Endorsements from people with title like Doctor M and so on without any address or phone contact for confirmation. These operators once they get your money they are gone and kiss my ass. They know that you will cut your losses and swallow your pride and don’t want anyone to know that you have taken for a sucker.

Same goes for bird music some unscrupulous and unethical con artist will down load them from internet or cd given to them will just rename them with some dangerous and enticing names and sell them. If it don’t work their excuse is the bird in your area speak a different language or your amp is not good enough and will try to sell you new amp which he claim to have superior sound ,oh! Another RM7,000. Ha!Ha! Oh! you also need to engage him to come and tune your new amp for another RM800.00 plus travelling expenses and sea food dinner. (Can you see how fat he is compare to a year ago)The real reason is that these sounds have been used by so many BH for so long that the birds in this areas fed up and no longer respond to them. I do belief that at one time these are good cds.

A master bird music composer knows the different type of sound and will probably have only about 20 very sharp and clear sound tracts of 2 or 3 minutes in his collections. Their skill is to splice about 4 or 5 sounds to make up about 2 minutes of 4 or 5 sounds. Another skill for this master composer is their ability to tune all of them to the same sound level and the correct frequencies. You can record them in 2 channels and layer another tract to prevent other from stealing your sound. Once this is done, repeat them and record then to 1 hour cd or pen drive. Only the bull shit half pass six sifu will claim that they have 200 or 300 cds to choose from. I bet most are no longer effective.

I have one of this cd made up in front of me in a matter of 20 minutes. The new music has been tested and result recorded on video. You need to jiggle these 20 sounds around and keep your bird interested, but at last very few of us, me including don’t have the ears to differentiate the different sound. If you are interested to try, go buy a collections of very clear sound from Eka Walet’s collections at about RM60.00 each and isolate and extract all the different sound and learn to make your own bird music or buy from a respectable sifu. I get all my Bird Music from Pak Han through CK. Many are given to me FOC.

I now brew my own aroma and extract the oil from swift lets feathers and bird nest. This oil is only applied to the speakers and none on the nesting planks. This oil is sterile and contains no pathogens or mold to contaminate your NP. The odors will last for three months. The claim of hormones is just bullshit and by the way its illegal to sell hormones without lenience. If you use the highly recommended duck eggs, Kiss your BH good bye. Your planks will turn green. This self styled guru clearly does not know SHIT. Please beware.

I was overcome by greed to believe that some green looking hormones applied to the NP of my new one month old BH with six spots will fill up in no time as promised by my supplier.( I still have my respect for him as I think he sincerely belief in his product and don’t bad mouth others). All the bird left and I ended up shutting down my BH and washed all the NP plank by plank and masked the ammonia smelling hormones with a special aroma sent to me by Pak Han (for no financial considerations). It took me one month to overcome this problem. The applications of aromas will make the birds feel more at ease and stay longer in the new BH and over time with the right music and right environment will stay. I Spray a bit of aroma near the ventilation tube after each time I visit my BH will prevent stress to the birds as observed on my CCTV. The moral here is HAVE PASSION.

I hope that this is helpful and will prevent newbie like myself from being taken for a ride. These are my views and observations and I am by no way an expert. Please correct me and I will use the opportunity to learn the fine art if Swiftlets Farming.

I am sharing my experiences and don’t choose to quarrel with any one. The swiftlers feathers oil extracted comes a yellowish green in color and a combo of feathers, nest and two other ingredients which I promised Pak Han not to review come looking like blue color but once diluted are green. All new foundations are found on areas I applied the feather extract.

May the people who are encouraging the shutting down of BH with the agenda to promote their Eco Park, be curse for the next 3 generations.
