Nono, its not AP, I've never get an AP sets before

also, that reminds me ... someone claimed that w995 have walkman 3.0, not 4.0.... is that true??

if u own a w580i~~~ the w580i got different player skin right????can change the music player skin.

has anyone gone to different SE outlets? maybe the prices are different for each store? i think i mite drop by the outlet in my town later and look up the price.

Wei anyone know how to get the GPS to work? I tried wayfinder, garmin, all not working only loclet can find my location but cannot navigate

but for those mid range series of walkman phone like w595 and w580i ringtone sound can pawn the high end walkman series

i'm back from the SE outlet xP

i only had a limited time to test it because i had other matters to get to...

tested the sound: actually, i believe it's not as impressive as my previous w580i. i played the sample music given along with the phone, the volume wasn't that loud even at max. certainly not 'beat blaster' style. was kinda disappointed. i get this feeling that SE is trying to be 'polite' with the way they're lowering the max threshold volume for their later phones.

tested the camera: i only got to snap some random pictures, but so far so good. browsing through the menu i find there is no lag, so that's always good.

others: the animation wasn't that awesome - it's certainly no iPhone or anything, but it'll do regardless. The test model the outlet staff gave me was actually pretty laggy - i don't know why that was the case... there was a noticeable 1-second pause as i open the file manager and browsed through the folders.

at least the walkman menu was decent. i didn't get to check if we could change skins or not...

another minor detail that bugged me was that i couldn't find a place to attach hang-ons or keychains... well, i guess it won't bother you guys as much, but i would have liked to have the option of hanging the phone round my neck. maybe there is one, but i missed it? oh well.

now, onto the price. this is pretty exciting. on the display the price was rm2099, but the staff actually gave me a quote and finally it was settled around rm1899. mls_gamer, i asked about installments, and they offer it for maybank and CIMB bank accnt holders. interest is 3% for CIMB and 5% for maybank. the first installment, rm200 should be paid, and the next 9-10 months, the payment would come to rm190-ish every month.

dang, i forgot to ask about the headphones... but other than that, they didn't offer any exciting accessories for free aside from the memory card (in UK we get snap-on speakers too, apparently, but not here i guess *sigh*) so that was kinda disappointing. well, there's the terminator stuff but...

anyway, that's how it is in my town.

EDIT: from GSMArena - "Just to let you know guys, don't expect your phone to come with hpm-88 or snap-on speakers.Those are gifts. The standard package includes hpm-77 and you can clearly see it on te picture of the box (it has a w995 surrounded by hpm-77.I think that only the very first countries to have the phone give the gifts (e.g. UK)."
