i dont think taunts should be DQ though. thats too harsh imo.
Thats depends ... usually I will give warning...but if that still accurs...I will disqualify... Some players are good and some are not - We dont want some beginers feel intimidated or felt shy ...and they wont come back. So practically its just a rules...to make sure all players behave in positive attitude.
TAUNTING in game YES of course you are allow...What I meant was TAUNTING in real life the gamer him / herself is not allowed..
well setting the taunt to no taunt fixes the problem yeah. done. lol
anyway, i still dont think it should be banned. dont get me wrong, i dont taunt at all(except maybe against some close friends or people who taunted me and i beatdown his ass and i'll taunt back right before finishin him off) and based from my experience joining tourneys here, taunting can be something that is frowned upon BUT also can be something that makes thing interesting/create a few laughs etc.. to me its a legit tool but a good player should be able to win without using it.
anyway i dont think taunting a turtle or runaway to provoke him is unsportsmanship behavior at all. its situational.
"You may psyche the guy to rush in and win but at what cost? Is your win worth his humiliation and anger? All is for fun."
Again, its okay if i humiliate and anger him without taunting? Its okay to destroy his fun without taunting? Thats why I stated in my prev post that its STRICTLY depending on the individuals. Plus I can spam moves to build meter and that can be seen as taunting to some people too.
I just dont think its good to put unnecessary restrictions, thats all. Freedom of speech lol jk.
You can be an ******* and taunt in-game as long as at the end of the day, both players acknowledge that its just a game and shake hands and all. Thats all that matters imo.
ok i dont think i have anything more to say regarding this haha. Just set the taunt to no taunt then(marshalls have to keep that in check). hehe
