no fretboard inlays are sexy, thats what tempts me about the BFG. what i dont like about the BFG is the snakeskin looking maple top... there was a limited edition plain top BFG tho...if i could get my hands on that would be good.

No problems here without the inlays which I though would have trouble with. I though sure kelam kabut on the fretboard but surprisingly i didn't need them, but yeah it does look sexy...just like working on a blank canvas. Anyway you could try these instead  sweet Inlay Stickers

The stickers can tahan aa? Concerned they might peel off easily, especially after applying fret oil.
