actually what's the usage of the red light?
*
The red light is the auto focus assist light.
When the surrounding area is too dim, the camera cannot focus properly, so the red light come on to assist in focusing.
If the area is bright enough, the red light will not turn on.

Sure faulty ? But lazy to send to service. No time to reinstall if they mess up my phone or format it.

Wait 1 year, may change h/p  rolleyes.gif

Maybe you set the red eye reduction to ON?
Try tset it to OFF and try again.

Can someone come up with a guide on how to take a good picture with the n82 such as the usage of each different scene mode with samples and the differences in ISO ? thanks
*
I always set the camera to Low ISO, flash to OFF and make sure my hands are stable. If can I will rest the phone on something stable like a table or chair and click on the shutter.
If you prefer to use flash, then set flash to ON for a different result.

Got dust/finger print on your N82 lens??

Tips ~ Cheap Solution
1. Steal 1 un-used cigarette from your fren.
2. We r going to use the filter (white color) and peel the paper.
3. Now cut into half, use the clean part to wipe your lens. Done~

ps: Dont use used ciggy coz got tar/oil/dirt/nicotine in it. Clean you hand too.

You fren if dont mind, he can smoke the remaining stick tongue.gif
my fren siggy is a small type, lady cigarette laugh.gif so it is easier to wipe biggrin.gif
*
Aiya, why so difficult?
I just use a cotton bud to clean the lens. Fast and easy. smile.gif

my phone always sendiri off ki 1
but still got battery wor .. quite weird

Check your contacts between the phone and the battery.
Try to make the clip on the battery closer so that when slot into the phone, they make good contact.

Guys.. I cant receive mms leh although I installed the MMS setting thingy from Maxis already..

I called Maxis Helpline. They say I activated already.

But when I use other phone and send MMS to my N82, after few hours later only receive. Summore it says "someone send u mms. Go internet www. smth smth smth to view it.. Password: 1234 Bla Bla Bla"

How come? I thought I can straight away see the picture, if my MMS is activated.

Spoilt?  blink.gif
*
Delete all the current settings for your phone.
Call Maxis Helpline to send you the settings again.
Save them in your phone.
Off and ON the phone.
Try sending out a MMS to your own number.

Those were the steps Maxis Helpline taught me.

Again and again, I am no sure if this happen to all v30 or v31, but my v30 firmware have 2 major problem :

1) Hang when launch Nokia Map
2) Hang again sometimes, while smsing when listening to songs
I have no problem launching Nokia map on my v30. Nokia map is v2.0
My v30 firmware was updated by Nokia Service Center.

hi guyz..
anybody know if theres any nice apps for alarm clock?
alarm that cant be easily switched off..
coz its hard for me to get up early in the morning lol
e.g: need to solve puzzle b4 snoozing the alarm.. or sumthing like tat..
thx
*
hehe mobile phone alarm will not wake you up in the case.
You need a dedicated alarm clock that works on AC with an iritating sound. You also need to put it about 6 feet away from the bed.
When the alarm sound, you have to get out of the bed to off it. If not, your family members/housemate/roommate will come after you.
You will sure wake up. tongue.gif

Oh man u remind me of the good old days. LOL. Ok tell u what I did back then. I went to the tailor to make an extra pocket around the waist area of my school trousers. Similar to the kind of pockets which are found just behind the belt slot around the waist on tailor made trousers. Costs like Rm6 when I went to make it tongue.gif

2 good things to note. Teachers/Prefects only check around the trousers pockets so anything that i put into my waist pocket are practically unseen and untouched (well at least in my school la  blush.gif  ). Second thing is that you can be sure no pick pocket can get their hands on the precious N82 unless a thief steals your pants  sweat.gif

Do you know that in one school the teacher now use metal detector to run through your body to do body check?
