In terms of price, since the N79 is 2 years old, it could be bought for cheap, whereas the W995 is relatively new and quite expensive for its class. (hey its Sony Ericsson!)
Feature-wise the N79 beats it hands down. They both have the same features like GPS, WiFi, 3G, etc. but the N79 is a SMARTPHONE. The N79 runs the S60 while the W995 is a featurephone. You can install many apps, games, etc. from the Ovi Store while the W995 has to be content with poor JAVA apps. To simplify, the N79 can do many more things than the W995. A downside of the N79 is its smallish 2.4" screen compared to the W995's 2.6" screen, but its only 0.2" difference.
Performance-wise, the N79 does lag occasionally, but its not really that of a deal-breaker. The W995 rarely lags but that's because of its barebones OS. The camera on the N79 is about the same compared with the W995, even though the W995 has a 8.1 MP compared to the 5MP camera of the N79.
Overall get the N79.

Omnia 2
Pros: 3G AMOLED screen WiFi GPS 800Mhz CPU TouchWiz UI
Cons: Laggy (thanks to touchwiz) Only displays 65K colors Resistive touchscreen (no multitouch)
HD2 Pros:
Huge screen (4.3") Wifi GPS 3G 1GHz CPU Sense UI Capacitive screen (multitouch enabled)
Cons: Price Only displays 65K colors Huge size
Overall HD2 is way better than the Omnia 2.

The SE P1i is more business-oriented and is a smartphone, with 3G and WiFi, but the camera is horrible.
The K850i and C902 are both featurephones. They lack WiFi but have a great camera.
So depends on what do you need. If you want a great cameraphone then I'd say the K850i because it has a larger screen as well as Xenon flash. If you want a more capable phone I'd pick the P1i because of its WiFi capability as well as its Symbian OS. Do note that the P1i does not support WPA2 WiFi security.

Nokia 5530 is better because its a smartphone while the Elm is a feature phone. In short, the 5530 is more capable of doing more things than the Elm.

HTC Desire is the best of the bunch. All three of them have 1 GHz processors and run Android.
X10 lacks multitouch and is running an older version of Android. Timescape and mediascape isn't as polished as HTC Sense and it is laggy. The only thing that sets this apart from the other 2 is its largest screen.
HTC Desire has Sense UI which is really polished and smooth. It isn't as laggy as Timescape or mediascape.
Nexus One is basically a HTC Desire minus the Sense UI.

Yes the screen display technology is the same as on the HTC Legend. The AMOLED screen (similar to what you can find on Samsung phones) is present. The HTC Desire also has the 16M colors while the X10 only has 65K colors and uses old TFT screen technology.
Between the Nexus One and the Desire IMO I'll pick the HTC Desire. The Sense UI is really good compared to the stock interface of Android found on the Nexus One. Plus the Desire has 567MB RAM compared to the Nexus One's 512MB of RAM. Google support for the Nexus One will probably be very poor as the phone is not really supported by Google in Malaysia (Singapore is a different story).

IIRC it is impossible to bump up 65K screen color support to 16M via software.

E72 hand down. Why do you want to settle for a soon-to-be-outdated model? The E72 has a better processor, camera and optical pad than the E71.

QUOTE(ApoKalypse @ Jun 12 2010, 10:55 PM) E72 faster then E71? erm it bcoz my budget maybe...hehehe... E71 around RM752 and E72 around RM988... Yes, the E72 has a 600MHz CPU compared to the E71's measly 369MHz. http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_e72-2831.phphttp://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_e71-2425.phpQUOTE SE C901 vs SE W980 VS SE W995....
i got digital camera already which is sony cybershot DSC-2100.
pls recommend me those 3 above. W995 because of its big screen, WiFi, HSDPA/HSPA/HSUPA, and GPS if you have the budget. This post has been edited by pziv2: Jun 13 2010, 12:35 PM

Then why did you list the W995 as an option? Anyway so its now between the C901 and the W980. It now boils down to what is your need. If you want a backup camera, go get the C901. If you want music capabilities, get the W980.

Depends. The Vivaz has a 8MP camera and lacks a keyboard, while the Vivaz pro has a 5MP camera and has a keyboard. So which is more important to you? Camera performance or keyboard.
