That's silly. Have you been reading too much GQ rules? They need not match exactly the same, as long as they're in the same family. This post has been edited by bloke1: Oct 9 2010, 05:41 PM |

And I was right.
Note that I said same family of colors. A burgundy belt would work with brown shoes. It's a no brainer not to match brown and black together. Every kid who reads GQ knows that. But the general consensus here is no belt for businesswear. Belts are for small timers. Side adjusters and braces are the only way to get around here. Don't read too much GQ otherwise you'll end up like... |

^Keep your torso as straight as possible while tucking in.

I have a question Cheenoo, when tucking in shirts, do you pull some out to cover the edge of your trousers, or you just tuck them in and leave the trousers edge visible?

I don't pull out. I try to have them as tucked as possible. But this is not possible if your shirt's too baggy.

Unless you are a robot or a mannequin, your shirt WILL come out a bit when you move your arms around.
My advice: Tuck them in as much as possible. If your shirt fits perfectly, it will look fine. |
