Security insights and knowledge cannot be gained from training, its all about your patience and time and there are lots and lots and lots of free and reliable resources out there to do security related stuff. Its all about DIY...

These courses NEVER make a security professionals instead make them wannabies ... and if you want to be a real good security pro, do your own research and play around yourself. This course is meant for those who just wanna know, not those who wanna be smile.gif....

Screw CEH...and the rest

I have to agree with Sanjay.
The last thing you want in your organization - certification junkie!
I've been in the industry for more than 10 years now, nothing beats rolling-up your sleeve and doing the work.

Certification may - extend your knowledge, but that's after you've gained a first hand experience of it.

I not putting down the value of the cert or getting a cert, but the marketing ploy is just way beyond industry common-sense and practice.

What to do, that's what employers want. Sure we can promise heaven and earth but when they ask what cert do you have.. then how? tongue.gif
