autocruise once u brake it would cancel the cruising...

not a good example...

unless u use the hill climbing where it needs to downshift to maintain certain speed...

Don't laugh, man, I used to own a 1995 Satria 1.6 Manual that came standard with Autocruise control leh... laugh.gif

how long did your autocruise last? tongue.gif whistling.gif
besides, if your car has tons of low-end torque, you wont worry bout autocruising, just feather the pedal, the car is able to easily run up and down hills.

good for you then, then again, the reason why they probably did not include it in the manual version is to save cost, and the range of auto cruise speeds isn't really viable.

QUOTE(gkl83 @ Feb 13 2009, 10:34 AM)
the gearbox can change the gearing itself to maintain constant speed...
because 60km/h climbing hill and 60km/h flat road surface used different gear ratio...
*
i am not quite sure how the autocruise works in manual wira, but if i not mistaken once the car speed keep decreasing it will automaticly disengage. just like pressing the brake
to activate the autocruise i think you need 80kmh above.

Yeah, I know what U mean, man... Have you ever tried a manual car with autocruise? I gotta tell you, it gets pretty unnerving when it tries to accelerate up to the set velocity during a highway cruise... sweat.gif

it's easy to fix
just a small metal chain only, replacing it costs no more than RM20

I have a question I hope some of you guys can help. I believe I has spotted 2 trailers of Proton CPS on the Subang Airport root. After looking at the brochure there is a mild difference that I spotted. The styling is the same however the cars that I saw had those GTI like allen key on the side flares. Is there a CPS variation is my question...

manual + autocruise?
does not compute! XD
lets say you set at 80km/h.
then you need to brake,
does the car switch gears for you?
i LOLed!
*
when brake, the auto cruise will disengage . but off course need to manually change the gear. exist in some car like the good old SM4 accord (manual + auto cruise)
