erm juz wanna ask something..the focusing sound is made by the lens or the body? today i held a pentax dslr with sigma lens on it...the focusing sound so nice...zeee--ziiiiii

i see...i would have went for d90...but..it was slightly over my budget, not my budget..dad's budget for me..haha. I guess i have to play around with my a300..1st..sad.gif

Congratz for ur Alpha..
wait till the charger LED goes off...then its done... no point charging it for 8 hours (like handphone). It doenst work..

yea go to shop and try both... I tried 1000d myself..the grip is too small for my hand whereas a300 suits me just nice!
i was once in a confusing situation like u too
Canon-accessories easy to find..lens cheap..good second hand resell value..
Sony- better built quality(im comparing 1000d with a300), CZ lens available, faster autofocus live view, but limited accessories
