if you wanna take a good blue sky (if there any chance you get the blue sky), i recommend you to buy Cookin GND filter (blue).

silhouette shoot is like hmm..the subject is dark (black) and the background is bright. looks like shadow. how i wanna explain eh...

at least have one SONY ALPHA flash gun. at least one. or first flash gun you supposed to buy is SONY ALPHA nyer flash gun.
If your budget constraint, buy F42 is enough. Auto (TTL) and wireless capability.
After you buy, poison yourself with wireless flash.
