Atambo, I've asked for help from the reputable Man Utd jersey experts from another forum. Don't worry, you actually gotten yourself a genuine goalkeeper kit for season 07/08. However, this jersey was only used by the Man Utd youth/reserve side.

This is a rare 07-08 Man Utd GK kit. It is a player issue kit. There are 4 07-08 gk kits, blue, green, black and the gray one. Nice find there.  thumbup.gif

thumbup.gif Thanks yfchin2, wongkwp & plokoon. Thank God the jersey was not fake. I was thinking of 'attacking' the nike store tomorrow if the jersey is not original biggrin.gif

No, from my-fjc.

The fact is, nike outlets in UK are selling off a lot of player issue nike kits, not only United but other teams like RC Lens, PSG and Valenca. I manage to grab one, the green gk kit worn by van der sar last season (green was never sold as replica at megastore online or any other ebay sellers).. One of our friends in my-fjc (who is an expert as well from UK) informed us about this...

I think the question has already been answered. This is the good thing about this community, do not rely simply on one person. Player issue nike kits has no washing tags but printed washing instructions.

Correct mate.

Only the green, blue and black gk kit was worn in the EPL season 07/08. Black was worn only once... vs Birmingham City away. Maybe because the Birmingham city gk wore green gk kit and the opposition wore blue.. so had to wear black gk kit.

Schmikes, actually the black kit was also won during the game against Blackburn. During both the two games, it was worn by Kuszchak.

Jerseyman, the green GK shirt was sold as a replica only at OT. Somehow only the green shorts made it online. Strange but true. Like the current blue one.

Atambo, how much you got that grey GK shirt for...? any other shirts left...?

I bought it yesterday for £14. However when I went back today to get another one for a friend, there was only XXL size left & the price is £28. I asked the shop assistant & he said apparently the £14 price was for XL size & below only.

Mate.. you're asking me to verify something that is subjective..

You're not selling a specific jersey but you are offering services to buy something from United Direct.

Again here is the link of your sales thread:

http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f=21&t=966924&st=0

As you can see.. you're not selling a specific jersey.

I need some advice from you guys.
I bought a Man United jersey last year from MU megastore, complete with championship badge.
Last week my wife accidently wash my jersey in washing machine. To make it worst, she than put the jersey in a dryer. Because of that, the white line across the back was ripped off (tanggal!!). I manage to locate the white stripe and it looks intact (except for the bottom part).
My question is, do you guys know how can I glue that strip back? I mean is there any special glue that is meant for shirt.jersey?

wow.... thats prrety bad.. best bet is to try to iron it back.... either that or you have to go get some fabric glue and apply on the white patch... but becareful do not put too much fabric glue

If you can carefully cut off the MUFC wordings, it would make it looked like a player issue kit from the outside... brows.gif

Thats what I was thinking of when I first looked at it. rclxms.gif Wow, really dunno how to help you on this. try spraying some water on the jersey and place the white strip and try iron it back. If not might try to use some glue, but I really doubt the end product will look like before. wink.gif
