Anyway my opinion is that this jersey used that kind of material for one reason.. they are trying to mimic as retro as possible because of the 1909 FA Cup Final Jersey... the reason why they also have the retro style cuffs near the end of the sleeves.

The fabric is similar to the training jerseys that United had in the past seasons.. When I tried to wash and iron my new jersey, it produces that familiar scent from the training jerseys

I was told that for the first time, nike boutique is selling the home socks as well for RM25. Home shorts are selling as usual for RM109. It was sold at Nike Store in KLCC..

There is another option for you to do printing. There's this shop in KBJ (kompleks bukit jambul).... not sure which shop but another option to do printing services (they don't sell the nameset but they have the bulky machine). The chinese staff does a good printing job as well...

As far as I know, these people do a splendid job in printing:

1. Ahmad from al-ikhsan BB plaza
2. Daud from Real One

If you are a bit wary, try getting them to do the printing.

As far as I know, not all shops have the printing services.

I've already told you guys many times, never wash your jersey in the washing machine. Spin dry can, but do it for few minutes only.

In the first page of this thread, I've already said under "Q&A, TIPS AND GUIDES ON FOOTBALL JERSEYS" (post #2), please don't wash your jersey using washing machine. It can cause many damages such as pulls, scruffy namesets, bleeding colours on to white jerseys and so on.

My advice:

1. Wash the jersey individually using your hands

2. Use liquid detergent like breeze or dynamo

3. Brush only when needed (example, to remove stain caused by dirt or stains near the collars etc). Use a soft plastic brush (not metal wire brush).

4. It is advisable (not necessary needed) to spin dry the jersey and then iron it. You can leave it to dry by hanging it, do not leave it to dry under the sun.

About the damage, what you can do (just for fun) is to go to the stationary shop, look for white dye and colour back the vodafone sponsor (like kids watercolouring activity hehe..).

Don't soak it and leave it to soak for a long time. This will ruin the material of the jersey.

Best practice is after you've worn it, try to wash it straight away, spin dry it and then iron it. Don't leave it to soak with sweat and dirt for many days in the basket. If you can't wash it instantly afterwards, hang it to dry and then wash it as soon as possible.

No matter which store, either al-ikhsan or real one or q-line..

They are all selling player sized namesets (lextra or senscilia) and player sized patches.

Because for the new EPL nameset/patches (launched in 07/08 season), there is only player sized namesets for lextra typed namesets.

Local stores order only lextra typed namesets because they look genuine and authentic. They don't sell PU typed namesets, it's only being used in most sports stores in UK.

In Malaysia, would be more cheaper.

1 EPL letter = RM6
1 Number = RM35
Printing fee = free if you buy the nameset there

So OWEN 7 should cost only (RM6 X 4) + RM35 = RM24 + RM35 = RM59.

Argentina jerseys were sold at most stores in the past... you can try checking at al-ikhsan, real one or at adidas stores.

If you can't find one, you can buy them online from kitbag or subsidesports. Please read the first page for more details.
