Hello Jerseyman.

I recently bought a few jerseys from the internet.

I bought a few long sleeved shirts by Nike- Celtic home 06/07 and Celtic home 08/10 both of them are without the Carling logo, both are size M. I also bought a white Nike celtic kit, European issue, from 06/07 i think, short sleeved M size. All from eBay, from trusted dealers.

My question is, why is there such a big difference although they are both m sizes between the L/S and the S/S.Clearly the L/S jerseys are far longer and wider in comparison with S/S jersey although both of them are m sizes. I feel as if i'm wearing an L size jersey when i wear the long sleeve jersey.

Is this just my feeling or is there really a big difference between S/S jerseys and the L/S ones.

Enlighten me o jerseyman.

Hello payuz.

There are some slight differences between short sleeves and long sleeves.. the armpit and the width of the sleeves are a bit different.

That is normal.. even for other brands as well.. there could be some differences or no difference.. I have few XXL long sleeves and it feels like wearing XXXL as well...

mudah website are known to have sellers selling authentic kits with mind blowing prices..

my advice.. as I have always said to members in this forum and other forums (lowyat.net, my-fjc and mymanutd.com) hate it or not... is to DIY (do it yourself) and search for the jersey in ebay and buy the nameset/patches yourself.. trust me it will be far cheaper.

people hate me for these kind of advices... but what else can I say?

Can't agree more with schmeichel7...RM800 for a piece of jersey? I can get at least 2/3 of the same jersey with that price in ebay

the only people that will hate you for that kind of advice are people who actually expect to be spoonfed bro. no need to pay attention to those people, it's not you on the losing side when you pay much less for the same stuff (not to mention the joy of DIY tongue.gif)

anyway, to calculate for how much that shirt is worth actually, i'll do an estimate breakdown:

MU 9294 home shirt = around GBP45 including shipping from UK.
CANTONA 7 from Wiggy= GBP17.05 including postage
Champions badge = can be found around ebay, costs GBP9.99, shipping probably GBP5.

Total = GBP76.95. Total in Ringgit Malaysia = 76.95 X 5.5 = RM423.25.

Price is of estimation, so it could be higher, it could also be less (depending on how much u win ur jersey). But even if higher, will it reach Rm800? go figure.

anyway, the thing about DIY is, if it's not done by you, it's done by someone else for a higher price. why not do it urself? bring to ALI or R1 if u dun wanna use ur own iron.

I'm sure the seasoned pros here would disagree. Definitely can get the kit before the team arrives late July.

Also, I do think Nike Malaysia would bring the kits in to maximise the tour.

Most probably will get the kit before the tour. Last season I receive the kits a day before its even launched.

Hahaha.. no la. It means that the badge is stitched on to the jersey la.

Some badges are not stitched to the jerseys (PU printed). Don't worry about the description.. but again, the price is sometimes too expensive la
