i got problem with the display only after 3 month of usage.
problem shows up only when screen is displaying all white picture / background..

some user said i can eliminate this problem by doing firmware update,
but here internet connection very slow.. so, updating fw may take like forever for me..

btw, my fw is R1EA033

else, no big problem for me. really love the camera, especially when with modded camdriver installed

finally my phone has been updated to R1GA028, and compatible with the language files that comes with the modded camdriver..
i got facebook apps already installed, and USB port menu abit different from before.

and what more important is the display problem is no more liao!
worth my 1 hr backing up files, update and reupload everything back to phone,
what to do, my uni hostel connection is very slow.. nevermind lah, janji no more display problem!

i dunno, but basically u must have an access to change the camdriver using A2uploader.. If you cant access, surely cannot change lah..

try the A2uploader first, then see can change camdriver or not..
old A2uploader cannot support C901, but newer A2uploader can already..

just buy it, basically all cert can be modded (open with a2uploader)

currently i'm waiting for C901 camdriver by raiderski to be released..

assist light is auto mode,
when ambient light is enough, the phone 'thinks' there's no need to on focus assist light. Save battery maa.. Of course, when it's dark or lowlight indoor, the led focus assist will turn on automatically.
Remember, the C901 oso same as the GreenHeart version on the software side. So, it's also power saving oriented phone.

Also, if you set the brightness to minimum (10%), there will be no blue led ring when you slide open the camera cover..
But if you set screen brightness to full, the blue led ring is there..

Yeap, when you set the screen brightness to minimum, the phone 'understands' that you wanna save battery as much as you can.. eventhough when you think again, there is no connection between blue led ring and LCD screen brightness..

Anyway, it's nice to know there are more and more C901 users around..

yes, happened to me before when i'm still using C702,
after flash fw, ok already..

i live in a low telco signal area..
so my phone always on "Emergency Calls Only", but my phone is ok whenever i go to town..
maybe you should reflash it as per blacklizard90 said..

if that's the case, you should send it back to shop for repair..
no need to trouble yourself reflash on your own..

really ar? too bad, many of my friends wanted to buy this phone after i shown them the pics..

u are using the latest already,
the one that can set the iso is the modded camdrivers (got many for C901). read prev post in this thread on where to get them..

that one need to edit the language file. however if you not change oso wont effect the camdriver.
why dont you use the Raiderski camdriver instead? No need to change language file like in Jigonx camdriver.

futhermore raiderski camdriver can do alot of things like swap colors, manual focus with preview, iso up to 1000 , shutter speed oso longer than original but still cannot break 1 second limit yet..

the raiderski camdriver may seems very complicated for 1st time users, but once you understand the layers concept, it actually easy and more fun to use.
