it actually decrease 2 pin, if increase, how come it can fit into am2+

The best mobo from MSI so far...yet will make DFI to do more EXTREME mobo later on...

This is the best of all for AM3...PWM / NB / SB cooler are cool...luv it most...

do you have the benchmark of super pi 1M ?

Socket AM3 has 941 holes. Deneb AM3 has 938 pins. Socket AM2 has 940 holes(and 940 pins for the processor) though the pin placement is a lil different, that's why AM2+ processor can't fit into AM3, while AM3 can fit into AM2+.

Nice mobo btw. Good design.

This mobo runs 2x PCI-E x16 or 4x PCI-E x8. It's how the 790FX chipsets are.

Horrendous price for what it offers, though. (5 phase reg? Ouch!)


Hopefully it's much better for Malaysia pricing, haven't seen it pop up yet.

why the cpu-z says it is AM2 ? tihs is not Am3 meh?
