Socket AM3 has 941 holes. Deneb AM3 has 938 pins. Socket AM2 has 940 holes(and 940 pins for the processor) though the pin placement is a lil different, that's why AM2+ processor can't fit into AM3, while AM3 can fit into AM2+.Nice mobo btw. Good design.
This mobo runs 2x PCI-E x16 or 4x PCI-E x8. It's how the 790FX chipsets are.
