QUOTE(13579 @ Aug 28 2009, 01:30 PM) ya.. i'm deleting 1 by 1 until wan die.. sumtimes when u take pic u will transfr once a week.. imagine u just transfer out 100 pics n need to delete 1 by 1 in the "Media Browser" OMG!! i also tried delete the "MBcache" folder in phone memory thinking it will help but still the same. I think I discovered something just now, but have not really tested it. I deleted 1 photo from file manager and go back to media browser to check and its not there anymore. But 2nd time i deleted the whole photo folder and I see broken image link in media browser... maybe you can try to mark few or all photos then delete and check if they are still in media browser... i'll try mine tomorrow

QUOTE(HM_Apfelbomb @ Sep 1 2009, 06:09 PM) how do u guys do taking quick notes or sketches without using a stylus? Is handwriting recognition supportable? I am using treo650 and both functions work perfect and i use them all the times. These are the functions taht I look most when buying new smart phone. rgds,,,,, For me is okay, but if you are used to write using stylus, it might feel weird using Omnia HD since you are sketching using your finger... QUOTE(mmww104 @ Sep 2 2009, 12:29 AM) HI ALL THE SE FU HERE ! JUST GOT MY OMNIA HD LAST NIGHT AND I THINK IT S GOOD PRICE TOO 2450 WITH POUCH AND SCREEN PROTECTOR TOO FMG SET .... QUOTE(brainpower @ Sep 7 2009, 11:54 PM) Hi there, I'm wondering does this Omnia HD support motion sensor such as tapping the phone to play or stop a song, flipping the camera to launch a program or something like that? I saw that feature is available in Samsung Jet. Wondering can any Omnia HD owner share a little? Thank you very much. Really looking forward to hear about this soon... Omnia HD has motion sensor but the software does not made use of features like tap to play/stop. The motion sensor is used for features like turn phone faced down to mute calls/alarms and change screen orientation for some menu.

Not sure if this will work... why not we all Omnia HD users here send an email to Samsung Malaysia asking them to bring in latest firmware to Malaysia? If number of users request for this, i believe Samsung might look into this.
Probably we can email directly to Samsung headquarter?

QUOTE(Aishiteru^Suki @ Oct 6 2009, 02:21 PM) Lol same old fw updates problem yar bro?? Since using Innov8 also we encountered this kinda problem where certain fw regions are already on the so-called "latest" version although they are already more than 1 year old.. this is what i learned back then and its a no surprise to see you Omnia HD owners are facing the same issue as well.. Samsung Malaysia @#$#%%^#$#@$#@ Thou I do not face any issue with current firmware, I hope to get new firmware so can try new things on my phone. Anyone here manage to find email contact for Samsung Malaysia? Tried to search around Samsung.my but only have phone contact... Maybe can share it out so we can send emails to Samsung.

QUOTE(Aishiteru^Suki @ Oct 22 2009, 07:47 PM) Lol.. Samsung's thread always like that.. same like Innov8's thread last time.. i tried to revive the thread but its dying rate was faster than its revival rate.. gave up in the end.. I think mayb coz samsung phone is stable and not much problem so users are satisfied with it (my personal opinion)

Shake on call for speaker, seems like a nice feature... 1 thing i don like about Omnia HD is very troublesome to activate speakphone... need to hold lock key and sometime will accidentally lock the phone during call...

Hi all, just curious what is the best web browser and IM application (live messenger) for Omnia HD?
I tried Opera Mini Beta 5 and it seems quite slow. Heard it consumes a lot of memories...
Thanks.

QUOTE(emino @ Jan 1 2010, 03:49 PM) Dude. Opera Mobile 10 beta. Use THAT! Added on January 1, 2010, 3:49 pmFor IM applications, Slick or Palringgo would be my best choice. Thanks bro! Just installed Opera Mobile 10 and Palringo. I noticed Palringo needs to create an account in order to sign in, how about Slick?

QUOTE(emino @ Jan 1 2010, 06:00 PM) Slick as I remember doesnt. But why not just register? Next time when you format your phone (with constantly new HyperX ROM updates coming out, you will reformat many, many times), you dont have to set things up again. I'm afraid I might forgot account that I have registered as I will not always use IM on phone Anyway I just registered an account. I believe Palringo is better IM app compare to Slick? Is this correct?
