Why do you need a converter? The device default video player plays most avi, mpeg and mp4 already.
*
QUOTE(alfredtwl @ Aug 16 2009, 10:17 PM)
i just put the AVI HD and play, but cannot play~ divx avi is ok ~ have any idea?? blush.gif
*
I tried to play a few AVIs and MP4s file but none seems to play without problem. Either video could not be opened or only sound available.

Guess my video files are too advance for Omnia HD tongue.gif

Thanks.

I likes Symbian as well beside the troublesome registration part.
If Omnia 2 still not yet launch by Wed. will be getting HD instead.
*
I thought Omnia 2 is already in market earlier than Omnia HD?

weird.. the pics i took are all nice n even great.. mostly i test it during night and indoor.. even if without the indoor setting also looks good.. the only key is ur hand muz be extremely firm bcz even a lil shake will cz the pic to go blur or bad.
*
I took photos indoor with auto setting. I think the reason pic quality differs a lot is due to I've seen better photos taken by my previous innov8.

i thought most of the 700mb avi files are divx encoded.
the phone should be able to play divx videos straight out of the box, isnt it?
*
I don't know. For some reason mine cant play the file. I have not able to get a working converter on my PC yet so unable to convert any video for my phone yet...

Whats the file format for your movies? I tried both AVI and MP4 without conversion on phone, only can hear sound but video could not be played.

hey guys, hows the i8910 camera pictures compared to innov8?
Better or no differences at all?

Imo, Innov8 has better camera pictures compared to Omnia HD. However when talk about video recording, Omnia HD is king! smile.gif

QUOTE(emino @ Aug 24 2009, 11:38 AM)
The default Real player that comes with the phone.

I've tried putting some more music videos into the phone (and convert those flv's into mp4 since flv is not supported).

Really nice. thumbup.gif
*
May I know what software you are using to convert MP4?

I'm now trying to convert video using WinX Video Converter free version. Hope my phone can play it.
I tried to convert avi using Super Converter but failed to play. Maybe I do not select right video setting...

Thanks bro. I'm currently using Malsing v2.30.
Is there any different between Malsing v2.30 and MFM 1.72 other than MFM is solely Malaysia map and probably newer?

Thanks.

Yeah I know, been using this map since 1 year ago. Now transferring the same old map to Omnia HD.

Is it MSM has bigger area coverage compare to MFM?

MSM = MalSingMap = Contribution-ware
MFM = MalFreeMap = Free-ware

A lot of developments has been done in MFM. You'll get the weekly map updates. Unlike MSM, once a month....?

I use both. 1st priority to MFM. If MFM doesn't have the coverage, I'll switch to MSM

Any i8910 users care to brief the battery performance...? I'm only interested on phones having battery of 1500mAh and above. Currently using i780 having decent 1480mAh performance.
*
How do you switch map? By renaming the img files? Or you have combined both maps in 1 img file?

The only ones that becomes missing files in my phone is the image files in garmin folder which i had set as hidden.
*
I did the same for mine, but only "hidden" in media browser, but not in Image & video viewer app.

As for deleted image still appearing, I think the only way to manage this is to delete image using media browser instead of delete image from file manager or memory card directly...
