techno: get your dad to buy a pickup la, easier to transport bike ma. all these expensive coz of the rip off APs conti cars are no good for taking your bike to some place where you can ride it since bangsar or d'sara heights are too hilly. hehe

everybody: steroid hill or the horseshoe trail is DAMN worth the climb. whether you go up from the left hand side or the right, it is a BLAST! going up left means the ride down will be fast! and you get a real hammerring at the bottom coz of the ruts near the bottom. so for RS forks go to full RABBIT!

going up the right side is a hell of a climb, and the descent is more technical and slower, challenging. BUT THEN, you when you reach the flat section near the bottom there is a another trail that leads to the kepong botany gardens. then it becomes Super Steroid! your legs will be JELLY at the end of that! plus there is a little hump you can jump at the end.

maxguy: i think i do that loop as well when i do go to frim. rover then steroid. next time why dont you try going up steroid from the sungai buloh side and instead of returning to the bottom of the valley, go right and up the gravel road once you pass the pondok. that will lead you to the kepong botanic gardens and then you can follow the road to the cemetery and there is a trail that leads you back to bottom of the road near where they test dry wood.

Yes, it's true and I agree with you. But because it's in regards with Malaysia. There's some true Malaysian supporters here, that may be insulted and start a flame war.
*
are we not TRUE Malaysian supporters?! being one DOES NOT MEAN you have swallow everything the gomen tells you. this is a democracy not a 1 party state, having your own opinion is a sacred right of all citizens! those who dont think so can take a hike to Bolehland! Us guys, back to bikes!
Or thr neverending search for moola to get more poison put on our bikes!

nothing much about the technical problem with the Deore itself la. If you change to Deore and stay in this thread. Sooner or later, the guy with the dancing spy lady will start indirectly poison you.. (even though he say he self poison tongue.gif) then you will see some other dudes with their canggeh frame+parts... poison until cannot tahan.. haha...

If you can tahan, no problem with Deore Shifter+RD. They feel great and precise than my chapalang shifter. cost me RM300+ last time to change to deore shifter and RD.

Added on March 17, 2009, 7:12 pmanyone want to fly to Sarawak and join me in an epic ride to the unknown? (venture deep into the inland)

plus my rear brake pads seem soft, they dont lock up the rear even when tuned to the max. so need to change those.

my wifey has been dropping signals i should start thinking about a 2nd car. anybody else got any ideas.
why swift you ask? well, it aint proton, or p2 or korean or a vios and i dont have to wait forever for it unlike a honda city.

it is the only thing apart from the wheelset and the QR collar that is still stock from the shop i got it from in south london.

The Pusat Penyakit Kusta has a very sad air there.. the old site, I mean. All those small detached single-storey houses. It's like something BAD happened there many years ago. Then again, it was bad enough without anything bad (like a mass suicide pact) to happen there.
Guys, I heard in Singapore from my friend that you can get branded bikes cheaply from Sungei Road (not far from Bugis Junction).. but they are 98% stolen bikes xD. It's at those street-side vendors selling knick knacks along the stretch of the road.. if you know the right guy then he can show you the 'hidden stock' cool2.gif

Then again I don't think so buying fake goods is good.. just to add to your street smart info tongue.gif

well they are tearing the place down you will be happy to know! and there goes a part of our history. sheesh!
