to suit ur weight wheelset performance, only way to go is

AMERICAN WHEELSET! wuhu!

but then, u won't get those colour thingys.

so it's very hard to suit what u want there.

QUOTE(havenzhiv @ Apr 15 2009, 07:20 PM)
If increase of performance....I would rather spend money on a wheelset rather than drivetrain....

My upgrade list (from first to last)
1)Crank
2)Wheelset
3)Cassette
4)Shifter
5)RD
6)Chain

Fork should change somewhere in between if the fork is so chapalang

However, for my case, the wheelset is still not upgraded becoz I have not found the dream wheels that I want which must fit these criterias:
1) Total weight with hub < 1.8kg
2) at least 25mm internal diameter
3) Tough as hell
4) White rims, red nipples, black spokes, red hubs
5) cheap

QUOTE(akay877 @ Apr 15 2009, 07:38 PM)
Thanx for the reply.

Nice bike! Fit my budget! But, where can I find this Nexus Excalibur?

The bicycle shop near my house sells like "normal" bike only.. sweat.gif

edit: This site seems to offer one.. Is it good?

http://www.easia2u.com/eAsia2u/english/tem...822&itemid=7667
p/s: Any recommendation on good 2nd hand bike?

Truvativ does have that crank coming off problem, but it can be solved by putting on those white tapes around the thread before tightening it smile.gif and im using truvativ blaze. hihi.

QUOTE(anderson1188 @ Apr 15 2009, 08:54 PM)
aw,just back from my 'short' ride..i've gotten my rechargable torch and backlit altogether for RM115..

btw guys...any idea what will truactiv blaze be equivalent to shimano's crank??
*
for ur budget and what u expect doesn't compromise. and u can actually google it yourself what the forks offers. aite.

QUOTE(TechnoDude94 @ Apr 15 2009, 09:39 PM)
Lol, RM200 more than budget. doh.gif
Urm, which got preload adjuster and remote lockout?
I was planning to use the RM7k to upgrade the components and maintain the frame.
Bro, don't joke ler.
How to use a rigid fork in Kiara or FRIM? You'd have to pay for my bone problems... brows.gif
If were the noobs, are you the pro? wub.gif

but then, it's impossible that truvativ would actually make this problem on purpose throughout the years and for all of their cranks. haha.

QUOTE(leinnz @ Apr 16 2009, 09:50 AM)
Ya. me using truvativ cranks as well. Stylo crank.
it comes off due to wrong sizing on the BB adaptor.
there is a measurement for the adaptor as our frame bracket BB length is different for different manufacturer.
Solved mine using different adaptor size. No loosen crank now.

em, i would like to suggest you NOT to go Fook Sang for starters. Hehe. You'll know why when you are later more into the MTB scene and thank me for that. hehe.

so, I can suggest you to go Batu Caves Sammy though. For cheaper bikes! smile.gif some may not be in stock. and you can order. hehe.

Da bomb XC bikes should be good.

Or you could try 2nd hand man. smile.gif

cheaper at a better parts.

Hey guys came back from hospital at about 2:30pm. Thx for all the wishes
smile.gif

Turns out to be a fractured collarbone. Doc gave me a sling and asked me to let it recover itself within 2 months or so. Gee.. now everytime I get up from chair or just plain move can hear the fractured bones making noise (like the noise of shifting gears).

Got 1 week mc.. looks like I'll be in bed for some time.
*
woah, that's bad man.

QUOTE(Lord_darkslide @ Apr 26 2009, 07:21 PM)
dear latias93..

get well soon have a good rest.... collarbone fractured... aduh... take care....
what to do shit happen...

by the way... we can rest together... i got mc 2 days only...
ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET~~!!

i got deep cut in the forhead, badly bruised elbow and shoulder and knee.... not x-ray-ed though... but supposed no broken bone.. since my arm can move accordingly...but painfull la when move....arghhhh...

my rm60 sars helmet broke during impact...to me thats good... all the forces of impact didnt get to my head.. because the energy is used to broken the helmet instead transfred to my head... hmmm... (boring engineering physics class lasttime i sleep... so cant explain in detail....hehheeh)
