Arrgh, that game was really disappointing. First half, we were in control, but failed to do anything. Second half... boo

I've got one damn question though. WHY did Rafa put in Babel in the dying minutes? When Masc was there, he provided a good solid wall, and provided many through balls. When Babel came on, he got a lot of the ball, but did shit with it.

I seriously expected a win. Man sad.gif

But at least, Lucas played awesomely yesterday.

I still have a positive thinking though that we still in the title race. We already played chelsea, so that will give an advantage to us. If chelsea can stop man u and we win, there will be only 4 points ahead of us. And they also have to play us and if we beat them, we are only a point behind man u. So it means we still in the title race and hope other club is on our side to beat man u. nod.gif
And we also need to win every single match from now.

another draw for our team....dissapointed ...everyone in the team was ok...they just dont have enough support from midfielder....and Torres has been mark by ManC defender....when we are too depends on Torres ..this is what happen...

on paper, we are down...but theres 12 games left...and pray that we will win every game...

it would take MANU to lose 3 games to lose the title, and US, liverpool to win EVERY GAME

very unlikely

to WIN every game ? hehe

for MANU to LOSE 3 games ( lost 2 so far only ) and at this rate of form? hehe

im a liverpool supporter but lets be realistic here.. we just settle for 2nd but we really gave it away ( we were miles points clear ) back in NOV / DEC

both Man United and Liverpool will 100% drop points towards the last 12 league games due to CL matches (and FA/Carling Cup for Man United) ... but who drop the lesser, then who will be crowned the Champion

i am being realistic, there goes the Premiership crown for Liverpool. Chelsea is already at the Liverppool footstep. just hope the lads can maintain 2nd sport for automatic qualification for Champions League next season!

Disappointing result, but even more so was the performance from our boys. It was reminiscent of the Houlier days. So disappointed that i ended up downing a glass of Johny and called it a night. We looked toothless, nervous and lack determination to push forward. Bar Kuyt, and Aurelio when he came on, none of the boys seem to have the composure and desire to win the match.

IMO its down to nerve. The passes in general were below average and hardly ever the ball was played to the feet of the isolated forwards. The lack of service is evident since we hardly ever tested Given.

The fullbacks seem slower as they hesitated to push forward. Doesnt help that they were left chasing strayed passes all day long. Wished Aurelio had started the game since we were without 2 of our best set piece takers and passers.

I'm a fan of Lucas, but last night he was atrocious. He tried to make positive forward passes, but none of his probing passes made it through. Masc was as bad but not as 'prolific' as Lucas simply because he made no attempt at making probing passes. Both of the CMs didnt support or linked up with the forwards so most build ups ended prematurely. Our our only goal came through the flank where we completely bypassed the mids.

Defending we were average, and while Carra was ok for most part, it irked me seeing him reluctantly dragging the ball 10 yards to his right, only to pass the ball back to Skrtel who was taking up the space Carra initially was. What's the point of that ? That sums up the urgency of our attacking build ups. Ball being passed around the back and had needlessly bogged down our build up. Agger would have been useful last night as he is the type of player whos comfortable to take the ball forward and link up with the mids.

I wouldnt be overly upset if we fail to win the title this year. I honestly didnt expect it at the start of the season. But its seeing the team stuttered and under performing when they should be already playing at the best form. The game against City was ours to lose, they didnt even played that well, its just that we played worse than them.
