QUOTE(utp_tyco @ Mar 14 2009, 02:49 PM) go to the old trafford and play furiously like we play against madrid....then let the destiny and luck decide who will win..really dont want liverpool go there and defence..defence..and defence...and waiting manutd to crash our goal net...no matter wat the result..as long we play good and fighting spirit...i will standing asthe 12th man... I don't think Liverpool will get success at OT by playing the furious attacking style like they showed against RM. That is because, firstly, the defenders of Man Utd are much better than RM's in linking themselves with the midfielders. Hence, it will not be as easy to pressurized their defenders, and that constant pressure like the one displayed against RM is very hard to do. Man Utd are the masters of pressurizing opponents themselves. Secondly, it is because you guys will be playing at OT. Remember how you guys approach the away game against RM, at Bernabeu? Not that furious at all I think. IMO, RAFA will not use the same tactics that he used in midweek. But I can anticipate a good match tonight. just finished work and will be able to catch the match (thank god). let's just hope the traffic all the way back home's smooth.
cracking match, win or lose i hope the team will perform at their best, at least we'll know where we really stand when compared to man utd. although it hurts to say it, i'd admit man utd has set a benchmark and liverpool will have to emulate their achievements in recent history. hope you fellas have a great night watching at sri hartamas. |

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Mar 14 2009, 04:07 PM) Why would you play spearing ahead of Lucas? Lucas had only 7 appearances(in starting 11) this season and you guys already written him off? Spearing might be a good player but he is still inexperienced.I prefer Lucas over Spearing anytime and yes, I m one of the lucas doubters because want too see more on other youngster instead of lucas..mayb the french youngster...damien plesis..look better on the ball than lucas when he play during last arsenal match...Added on March 14, 2009, 6:48 pm QUOTE(adrian0229 @ Mar 14 2009, 06:25 PM) although i dun support both team, but i hope liverpool will win it...at least can make the gap lesser...if not, not nice to watch epl jor if man u keep dominate... come and join the 12th man on the field.. go go gerrard...go go torres This post has been edited by utp_tyco: Mar 14 2009, 06:52 PM |

Lucas should just focus attacking and don't bother about defending if he want to help out...
