Same question. I bought this SIM when I came to Malaysia (end of Nov 2008) and I bought this from a stall KLIA for RM20 (preloaded RM4). I don't know what plan is this. Although I make it a point to topup always with RM30 when I need so I get some perks. Problem is, I don't know what specific hotlink plan is this.

to check your current plan... dial *100#, then 8, then 2.. currently mine is showing "Total Plan" which i think is the standard hotlink plan gua..
i also nt very sure coz i just got this prepaid of mine as 2nd line..

Total plan is not standard plan. It's also not the new Hotlink plan.

oh.. care to share more info about this total plan? like how much is the call and sms rate?
when browsing the hotlink site, there is only 1 hotlink plan which is the 33sen/min with the top up of RM30... i'm really confused now wif all these..

Hmm guys, i just wanna ask, if i wanna activate the 365 days validity thingy, I need to have minimum of how much first ah?

And it costs RM30 ya, after that by the time I reload another 30 bucks, the validity will be updated instantly or it takes time??

how to switch from sms plan to active10 plan??
im using postpaid...i think my 500 sms easily dried up within a week.
need to switch from sms plan to active10...

i think u should have at least rm33, since they will deduct it just after u activate it. but if ur credit is <33, not sure wether it'll become -ve or not...
imo, the validity should be extended instantly after uactivate it...what else do they need to wait?

TALK plan, SMS plan, TOTAL plan, EASY plan is old blur blur hotlink plan.
Total plan have expensive adjacent and non-adjacent call rate.

Is there any particular reason you still maintaining using call plan rather that Hotlink plan?

usually at hotlink booth, the salesman will ask ur phone number, then the desired amount will be credited into ur account.

It is totally up to you. The only benefit from TOTAL plan is the off peak rate for active10 is 10cents instead of HOTLINK plan's 15cents flat. Foreign worker like total plan more.
