I got sms from hotlinkgift. The question is why they offer something like this?

don't u realize more and more people switching from hotlink to digi/celcom, they know maxis sucking their money everyday, with expensive rates at 60sec charging block. some others complaining about network quality, call drops, bad customer services, etc.. and some other complain about they can't stand any longer to delete too many spam sms and spam mms every day.. not to forget about hidden and unexpected charge.
i heard some of our fren here said, he got an information from internal staff that maxis lost almost half a milion customer (4% of total subsribers) just within less than one month after MNP launched.
maxis are actually realizing this, to mantain their market share, they need to give some rewards so people with stay with them.. after red promotion end soon, i believe they will offer another rewards to make people keep reloading and stay active with them..
and their trick is actually work, for example my nephew who had just bought SOX starterpack, she said dont want to reload maxis anymore, and using sox as her primary number. but because of red gifts, she reload another rm10 few days ago..

got promotion now I think until end of this month, reload RM10 get 20 days validity.
dont worry, more promotion soon, trust me

otherwise they will loose their market share.

They want you to spend RM2 instantly and then give you RM4 slowly (in RM1 x 4) after 3 months.
Yes, its stupid as it sounds to me. I didn't took it.
RM10 = 20 days validity?
How bout RM30/60 reloads?
that is the trick, to make sure you're not leaving hotlink to switch to other operator.

because the only reason why you all staying with hotlink is because, most of your fren are using hotlink too rite? and you will stay with hotlink as long as that reason is valid. maxis know it, so it must make sure they're still control the market. because they dont have any other strength.
and this situation also the same with postpaid segment. some of my fren who are using maxis postpaid are switching to either digi or celcom. and suprisingly no one switch from celcom/digi postpaid switch to maxis.
i can see other operator improving their network quality, services, reduce the prices. but i dont see it happen on maxis, even worse call drops statistic increasing everyday, 3g coverage still not improve after few years, reduce the price but using 60sec charging block.. so tricky.
note: since 60sec charging block applied now, wondering is they purposely drop the call so they can charge more?
