Donno why the tryanids units cant upgrade for basic melee and range units. Only when you go tier 2 or tier 3 then have upgrades for the units.

So far only tried humans, orks and tryanids. Dont really like the elder.

I wouldn't call the MP shallow, but more tactical in some ways than DoW, though seeing how you perform in DoW...

Like they say, poison to some. Now more focus on combat should be more interesting. But i think there will be overuse of covering fire. Even in multiplay, alot of ppl always use covering fire so have to equip with weapons to smoke them out from emplacement.

Their standard unit, nothing to do with which hero you take.

So far i like playing with orks and space marines. Tryanids not bad but donno how to use synapse, or is it a passaive skill?

Orks dont have many units which can topple a building fast, compared to space marines heavy bolter or something like that and the tryanids artillery unit.

With all due respect Cheesenium, I hope you don't turn this DOW2 thread to what cracksys did with Fallout 3's - be a killjoy.

cracksys still not as bad as the king of sarcasm soggie. But both are equally terrible individuals to listen to.

I heard that there is a memory usage issue with Vista 32-bit where some people cant play the game.It was going to be fixed, but dunno when.

Mine lags a lot even i play 3on3.The most i can get is 3 bars.

Mind listing out your complete specs?

My rig is:

2.2 C2D
8600M GT
3GB DDR2 RAM

I think its just you. Coz i playing it at 3v3 and my bars are all full and no prob in latency. I this is without the beta patch yet.

I agree, it's borderline as extreme as people who really suck up to bethesda. I do know cheese's reason and I am cool with it, it can't satisfy everyone, like me who was so pissed of with Hellgate : London. And I know cheese won't be a broadday troll for everyone who post good things about DoW2.

U mean suck at beth rather then suck up to beth. Donno why they like spoilt kids, once the game they played is changed, they just sit down aka stay around a lowyat and whine. Rather then be constructive their attitude more destructive, to themselves of course.

DoW 2 shouldnt be as bad as fallout 3 but u never know. I only found out that fallout 3 ending really sucked alot. Other things like combat were ok since im not a super fanboy who can only live on turn based gaming.

So far tyranid are an interesting race, donno when i can get to use the tau which is my fav race so far.

The orks grenadier are that good vs building? i tried to destroy the enemy base and it took me a long time to demolish it compared to the artillery unit of the SM or the traynids. The heavy gunner for the orks which can have a laser upgrade also wasnt very effective as well.

Are there different type of synapse? like weapon upgrades for units? Or just one type?

Plus whats the range of the synapse and what benefits do some units get from the synapse?

For me I think relic did a good job so far with the current multiplayer gameplay...not as crazy as DOW1 with the huge numbers of armies, but still good cause you really don't wanna see your units die in battle after they have leveled up abit. So I think they wanted that feeling of loss when a squad dies with the smaller setting.
Thats exactly what i had though. You have a more relation to the units since i personally dont want 2 see my units die so much. Rather play with a squad since its more personal rather then build an army and just pump them out like mindless machines.

Its way more interesting to send in a crack squad of troops and achieve victory against overwhelming odds with limited units and resources. Rather then just control resource points and pummel the enemy with numbers.
