Right now, I think I had my fill with "extreme" guitars. Would be hunting for a little more classy one or a more conservative design. PRS does spring to mind, but the price...... eep.

No idea yet...... most probably won't get any new guitars until next year when I go back to the US....... I might have a change in taste or finally pick myself a Gibson LP Standard.

I thought the epiphone prophecy models only comes in 2 shapes?

this prophecy series, MIC, worth it?

The reviews for Prophecies are not bad. They use brand name pickups and original Floyd Rose on some of the models, which is a big plus. You know where can we get it here ah?

from what i understand, the floyd roses on prophecy's are original, but are MIC.
they are still good, but are slightly different than the schaller made ones.

the prophecy necks are also more towards ibanez than gibson style.

I was quite tempted to get the SG Prophecy...... But I've had enough of extreme guitars for the moment.

If I WAS to get a SG..... I would go for a 2nd hand Gibby.

Argggggghhhhhhhhhhh........ between listening 24 hours to Wrath and watching Walk With Me In Hell......... I think I'll save up all my pennies and get the damn Jackson Dominion. It's just such an awesome guitar!!!!!! I might have to put in EMG 81TW and a 89 in them though..... so I can do coil tapping on both. I see Mark has EMGs in some of his guitars as well.

Oh crap. I just surfed through the EMG site....... they now have 60/85/81 in Gold/Chrome!!!!!!! also, the same pickups in the "X" series, which is supposedly higher output...... Might get a pair of Chrome 85 to compliment my Chrome 81 annivs......

It will work, but maybe a tony Microcube wouldn't be THAT powerful. How about investing in say a 50 Watt modelling amplifier like the Vox vt50? It'll still be cheaper then a POD.

i'd still rather buy the pod now, and save up for a non-modelling amp later on.
