Whoa.. taking the easy way out huh? Will till your Training Manager finds out!

Not really easy way. Alot of preparations still have to be done especially in making the plane and the presentation itself. Alot of facts means even more work in arranging things

Oh crap, forgot he actually lurks here

Guys, from what i understand from the 1st page, To be a LAME. you need to eigher have a BCAR or EASA .
i have a few question, Whats a LWTR? What course do i take so i can gradguate as a LAME, and start working for a airline, and where can i study?
About LAME, is it too late for me to start? im turning 21 next year, and im finishing up my Business diploma (July 2012) Took business last time because i didnt know what to do, so business seems to be the "safe" idea. I didnt do that well in spm also. I got 4 credits, and am not from a sicence class.
Guys, can u guide me through this career
There are many places where you can study actually but if not mistaken, Msia only have 5 ATOs and the top 2 would be dilog and APR, though I heard Dilog won't be opening any intakes anymore (not sure)

And I don't think you're too late, my class got a guy who finished his Diploma in Mass Communication 3 days before the interview while another one went 2 years through his degree in power systems engineering and quit halfway to join. Instead, I was the only unique one who did not came from another education institution before i entered APR

To get a LWTR(License Without Type Rating), you have to go through a 4-year course. After that, you get an employer and they will send you to be type rated for a specific aircraft that you will be working on. Time length for the type rating course ranges from as short as 2 weeks to as long as 6 months. So yeah, from now until you're 'officially' an LAE is around 4~5 years provided you did not fail any of your exams
