Normally without Agps it take how long to connect ?

depends sometimes 10 sec sometimes 30 sec sometimes 1 mins the longest i waited was 6 mins

Be warn if anyone got V-KOOL tinted it can effect your GPS performance so dont say the GPS sux

I tested around 10 minutes also cant connect . Maybe my places hard to connect to GPS

-.- first please google the meaning of a-gps and u will know its free or not this question been answered many times.
Best software today is GARMIN XT for NOKIA

but my intention is to find myself but not discuss in here where to find it wo.....

depends on your location depends on weather condition depends on interference it depends. There was once my fren keep saying GPS sux after findout his stupid car using V-kool so the phone having problem connecting to gps tats all

my problem is not activating it my problem is weather its compatible or not.

To install 10 dictionary can take awhile le. Later i install all cannot work ma waste time le.

As with anything electronic there are little things you can do to make things run more smoothly and efficiently, S60 devices are no exception. Here is a list of a few tricks that can help improve your battery life and make a S60 device feel snappier.

Battery Life

* UTMS/3G – In settings under network then network mode you will find the option to switch to GSM, Dual mode or UTMS. If you aren’t using or do not have UTMS/3G service available switch to GSM. Making this change will stop your phone from searching for a 3G signal. After making the change, except for the newest S60 devices will prompt for a reboot to take effect. 3G is great if you are using it, even then it is a huge battery drain but a waste of power when you are not. The Nokia N95-3 has the ability to change this option without a reboot; hopefully this will become the standard in all future models.
* WIFI – Like 3G it is also useful but a battery killer. Whenever it is not in use turn it off. Under Settings > Connection > Wireless LAN set to off. The change won’t disable WIFI only prevent the phone from constantly scanning for WIFI networks. Applications set to use a WIFI access point will still be able to do so and perhaps only take a fraction of a second longer to make that connection but the ROI in battery life is huge.
* Bluetooth – Not nearly the battery killer that 3G or WIFI but still a drain if not being used. I use Bluetooth whenever possible so I tend to leave it on except when in a pinch for power. If left on make sure you are hidden to prevent any possible security risks. Once paired Bluetooth devices usually no longer need to be visible to interoperate so that headset will still continue to work as before.
* Brightness – The brighter the screen the more power it uses. The default setting is at least one of two levels higher than I find comfortable and as an added bonus you will see a small improvement in battery life.
* Backlight – Change the timeouts for backlight and sleep modes to shorter time frames. You can always wake up or re-light the backlighting with a simple key press when needed and conserve power the rest of the time you do not.
* Network Selection – Most phones are set to automatic network selection, which is fine if you live in an area with good coverage however, if you happen to be one of the less fortunate switching to manual will prevent the device from endlessly seeking a signal. When you are out of range of your usual coverage area instead of simply searching for a signal the device will prompt you to select one.
* Disable/Time Shift – Some applications may be set to access the network when they need updates; perhaps automatically pulling in weather updates, podcasts, email and the list goes on. Do you really need to be downloading weather updates every two hours? Perhaps twice a day would be sufficient. Check the applications you have installed for these preferences and either disable them or set them to update when the device is normally charging. Applications such as Shozu or Nokia’s podcast application can download all sorts of content but doing so comes at a cost to your battery life. Changing the time such applications download to a time in the early morning or late at night while you’re sleeping and charging your device can give you longer battery life during the day when you depend on it to keep you connected most.
* Charging – It is a common misconception that rechargeable batteries need to be run down to prevent memory effect and to properly maintain them for longer life and better performance. In reality completely draining (a practice called trickle charging) modern NiMH and Li-ion batteries can actually decrease their performance and life expectancy. Back in the days when NiMH was first released and NiCad was the standard this practice was necessary; modern battery science has come a long ways since those early days. Modern NiMH and Li-ion batteries do not suffer from the memory effect of these earlier rechargeable battery standards. Don’t worry if you do run your battery down, there is a small buffer to prevent the battery from completely draining.
* Chargers – Invest in a quick charger, car charger or second charger for the office. Many people spend many hours working at their desk and yet few have a charger available. These can be helpful when you forget to recharge the night before or perhaps you had an extra long call that morning. Quick chargers from your phone manufacturer can give you a faster charge than the regular charger that might be suitable when you are charging overnight but not very helpful when you need a quick boost. Many Americans spend hours in their cars each day, giving you another perfect opportunity to recharge. Recharging when you do not expect to need it can really help during those times when you might need it most.

Memory and Performance

* Reboot – Modern mobile device are closer computers than mobile phones of the past, as such rebooting (power cycling) just like on your desktop computer can improve overall performance. This will also reset the network connection with the carrier. Many carriers will recommend doing that least once a day anyway so the benefit is two fold. For a full network connection re-registration powering off for several minutes may be necessary but varies from carrier to carrier and sometimes even from area to area on the same provider.
* Uninstall – Uninstall those old applications you may not be using anymore. Each application installed takes up a little bit of memory on the device, even if installed on the memory card, these little bits add up and eat away at your available memory.
* Call Log – Perhaps you have noticed the longer you use your device the more it starts slowing down. The call log is one of the reasons. The call log should be called Log because it doesn’t just log calls; it logs everything your phone does including SMS, MMS, and data usage along with calls. The default setting for this log is 30 days but when was the last time you needed 30 days worth of calls logs? Chances are you do not need more than a day or two, unfortunately the settings only allow for 30 days, 10 days or 1 day. I frequently find 1 day too short and therefore have opted for 10 days. Lowering this setting can improve general performance of the device by not bogging it down with much larger log files.
* Format - Periodically a device just needs a fresh start. When all of the above tips do not work it may be time to reformat and give the device a fresh start. To reformatting dial *#7370# from the standby screen. You will be prompted for the device's security code, default is 12345. When doing this do not forget the memory card. Some applications will reinstall themselves when the phone reboots which may bring back the problem. Using a memory card reader you can easily make a backup copy of the memory card to your computer. After making the backup go ahead and delete everything from the card while connected to the computer, then format the memory card in your device. This will not only ensure everything is gone but also rebuilt the default directory structure. I have found many people will format the phone forgetting the memory card also gets built up with junk, equally impacting device performance.
* Flashing - Flashing or upgrading the firmware of the device is another good way to restart fresh. Nokia semi-regularly releases updates to many devices fixing bugs and sometimes adding new features. Now thanks to Nokia Software Updater those updates can be done from home. This process is not always flawless; while rare there have been a few reports of failure which cause the phone to become "bricked." These failures can usually be corrected by a service center for free or other third party service centers for a nominal fee.

Now enjoy the longer battery life and better performance of your device.
