You know...I was actually stuck between this phone and the iPhone 3G...I could've gotten one with the phone plan in Aussie as I'll be there for 3 years...and then I thought to myself, the iPhone can't do much really...and I refuse to be grouped in that "Apple & Mac" group...never had an iPod, never will...creative zen all the way!!!

Anyway, symbian OS had come a long way...I saw a lot of my friend brought "symbian smart phone", but when I check what they had installed...lol..all default apps. Not 1 but many friend I had checked. The "smarter" friend they install games.

In general, symbian OS is an open OS. There are ton of apps/games/widgets/themes which are freeware as well as pay version. End user need to learn how to use it if they want to fully utilize the potential.

A lot of problems and confusion are mostly from end user who didnt know well.

I still remember the first time I get hold on a symbian S60 phone (nokia 3650), i was totally blur. But i also amazed by the feature offered especially from 3rd party apps..

Now, with more powerful proc and extra feature like 3G, GPS, Bluetooth and better resolution screen...It become more complicated and need constant upkeep. It became more like a "micro PC" to me. I felt that reset a symbian phone is like reformat a pc to me..

Here, we're tubians. Nobody going to shoot u. Haha. Nokia everytime said their lense is carl zeiss lense. Let me get it clear for u. Their carl zeiss lense is actually met the minimum requirement for the type of lense and there, they get the title of so call carl zeiss lense. If they really implement the real carl zeiss lense, u won't be able to buy a tubey with rm1300. N ur night mode won't have this type of noise effect. Lolz

the question is, is it getting cheaper because there is a good supply chain or is it because no one's buying it due to its cons?

the noise is due to the sensor lah...the smaller the sensor & the more MPs pushed onto that tiny sensor, the more noisy it gets

this is why when a picture is taken using a DSLR is almost zero noise when compared to the point & shoot cameras

and of course, point & shoot cameras still top camera phones because they are focused on that one segment

BUT you have to bear in mind that the tube is an XpressMusic phone, not an N-series nor is it a cybershot phone...

XpressMusic = music lah...since when did XpressMusic = camera?
