Hey guys, is the TP hardware keyboard STILL laggy nowadays? Or has that problem been solved.

Hi guys, I just got my 2nd hand TP and I seem to have a problem with the GPS. I installed garmin xt from the htc dealer but somehow when I start it up, it cannot search for the sattelite. Can somebody help me? PLease..!!

May i know where can get the Garmin by foc? PM me if know..

My TP keyboard "backspace" key is coming off!! so bad quality. Just 3yrs old.. any suggestion where to change guys?

guys, where to get touch pro full housing beside htc care? i already have a guide to fix it manualy. changing the full housing in htc care is crazy.....3 different section with different price....with that price i could get a new handphone already!!!!!

hmm..i got gps problem..garmin mobile xt cannot detect any satelite..
or there's some setting that i must do?
from what i've read. use com4 and baud rate 4800..
but no luck untill now..
im using the 2nd hand one..

Anyone fixed their screen from HTC before?Does the new screen comes with warranty? I have just sent mine in, for a cost of RM239. Wondering if within 2 months spoilt, who bear the charges again....

my phone is still under warranty, and they even did try to charge me almost rm300 for the keyboard problem!wtf???

I recently found that my phone will auto turn off by itself.........

my warranty will end by 20th on this month.....

I fixed my screen before, they didnt charge me anything for it. That was during last year as suddenly my LCD got no display at all while I still can hear booting sound from HTC logo. Then I sent into warranty and it took 5 week for them to get those part needed. They even promised me to repair my keyboard, but it end up waiting and waiting as they claimed they don't have part for it (wonder is that their strategy to drag your warranty so that you get frustrated). So I was frustrated and decided to took it back. They promised me to call me back once they got the part, but till now I still havent heard anything from them.

same here..the light of the screen went out. But if you put at certain angle, you still can see the screen is working. But they wont claim for me due to a small crack. Let them drag my warranty as long as they want...just hope to get my phone back before my next trip...
still got another 2 1/2 years of warranty to go!

Yes, backspace and space key... Some keys not so sensitive..I am lazy to send back for warranty edy....
Wow, 2.5 yrs? Then still long way to go...
You must always call them to ask, or else they wont bother to fix your phone..sometime need to push a bit so they will move...
there will be no wm6.5 for TP... HTC will nt pay for it.....
jz go to port in custom rom...

Yeap, bought it with 4 years worth of warranty. Thought of pushing them...but since its being claimed by SenQ, i can only push them but not SiS.

as for WM6.5, if i flash to custom rom, wont it be a problem for me when i claim for warranty ?or it wont be a problem?

from what i've read,you must flash it back to stock rom,stock spl and stock radio..if u what to claim for warranty..

wondering how long does a screen replacement and keyboard replacement takes?

sent my phone in around 19th Nov 2010....After 2 weeks +++, no one call me about the quotation price. And i have to phone up myself. Made payment on 13th Dec 2010. And till now i havent see my phone showing up...wtf???

it was bought in Senq ipoh, should i just call up SiS and take my phone???

assuming spare part available, i think it just need 2 hrs to replace that parts. waiting 2 months for repair is totally unacceptable and imcompatent and unprofessional. if i were u, i will call and f**k them kaw kaw and then write to HTC taiwan to complain.

they telling me, the screen part is ok already. But as for keyboard, the one fixed was not good enough. So now they ordering the parts from taiwan. BUT it is fix, u can get the phone by last friday.....and its already wednesday today....

wondering if i can call up HTC directly.

btw, who is still using touch pro, or any WM6.x on their windows vista/7?
how do you all sync with it? It seems that windows vista/7 dont have outlook express anymore,unless we go for the full fledge outlook which cost a few hundred bucks..
