its something to do with the design of the phone, and ribbon, and a lot of stuff. cant remember. u have to search back old posts, posted by oldnewspaper, he explained it. do a search.

@antipoison. place your finger lightly on the hangup button. dun press. just touch. now move your finger up and down.

Baronic ,
I remember u mentioned a way to revert back to the original ROM and Device ID so that in case of warranty claim , the warranty will not be void , lets say if we were using cooked ROM , any link to that ? or was I just dreaming ...

Looking into firing up some Manila 2 ROM into my TP
*
1. flash ori rom
2. flash ori spl

its that easy. its all on XDA

do i need to uninstall ultimate essential tweak by oldnewspaper v1 before installing ultimate essential tweak by oldnewspaper v3 ?

or i just dload all the tweak.
*
shudnt be an issue but best is to uninstall and then install the new version to avoid overlapping the registry tweaks

how do u propose to receive mms without connecting to the internet? MMS NEEDS some sort of data connection to download to your device

I didn't realise it was so hard for you to understand him ..... doh.gif

He wants to be able to receive the MMS using the 3G MMS settings , but he wants to disable the 3G internet surfing so that it doesn't go ahead and use 3G when he wants certain apps to use WiFi ,

I've used NODATA , and it is able to do that , I'm not sure why it isn't working for you .

Baronic , you sure know how to reply like an a$$ when you feel like it eh ?  brows.gif

he didnt say anything about wifi. and how was my reply like an "a$$". i was telling him MMS needs a data connection.

see my post again:

which means either wifi, or data package. he didnt say he's trying to connect via wifi. he just said he wants to download mms without 3G. so i'm saying he needs some sort of data connection to download. it isnt like an sms or anything. how was that "replying like an a$$"?

gavind87, you sure know how to jump to conclusions eh? brows.gif

thx for reply anyway.

so u mean it can be done right... i tried mine with disable maxis internet & gprs, enable mms. but it still will connect 3G internet.
*
u need to have a wifi connection and it must be connected to the internet and not "work". Then u SHOULD be able to download mms without accessing your service provider's data package smile.gif

U must always hard-spl, that one no need to talk definitely must no matter what device when flashing third party roms

Added on April 2, 2009, 8:25 pm@oldnewspaper, u using Rhodium? lol, i tried it last month, and switched back. hated it, still a few very important bugs. what especially irks me is the sms system. now TF3D has its own way to reply sms and accidentally changing tab or closing it, your message doesnt go into drafts!!!! also a lot of the stuff still are a bit misalligned. switched back to the ori TF3D

@oldnewspaper, when typing a sms using TF3D RHodium, when u close, does it save in drafts? I used the first version, i havent tested 1C but i didnt see it fixed under the fix list so i havent tried it. plus i already pimp my pda so i really malas to do again lol. but holidays now, so wanna hear from u, maybe i;ll do it. also, are the icons when u are scrolling TF3D2 still lower compared to TF3D? (its caused by the fact that its meant for WVGA, makes it UGLY IMHO)

@oldnewspaper, no wor, just flashed energy, still doesnt save to drafts lol. i mean the TF3D2's sms reply system itself u know?

and i meant LOWER not SLOWER. u know, when u scrolling the tab, there's a black curtain with the icon in the centre of your device, which changes as you scroll? i believe rhodium is not centred but lower, towards the bottom, probably cuz its meant for WVGA. confirm or deny?

Wait for energy's new rom. he has discovered the drivers that will solve the camera problem. tested and worked. but its in a new rom, and its a trial rom, and i've no idea where these drivers are
