My general strategy during corners is like: when you enter a corner, just tap the break a little first, then accelerate until you're at the middle point of the corner, press brake (not releasing the accelerate) until your car is stable then release to accelerate full throttle out of the corner. I found this easier to do with manual gear, but it works just as well with auto as far as I see.

Isnt this the slow in,fast out technique?

So what should i do?I tried reinstalling and stuff but it doesn't work out.Still the same thing after finish loading the NFS Shift, there's nothing.

Does the game work before you change any settings?

Mine is i cant change any setting,as changing any settings would mean the game crash in the race.

*Why NFS don't have Ferrari cars for the recent episodes? Curious.

License issues.

If they include Ferrari, you will not be able to modify the car and there will only be some preset stuff to choose from.

doest it good enough to play this game?
*
It could be just your com and there isnt much you can do about.

I tried the demo and it just keep crashing when i change the graphics settings.

Im just waiting for a fix now and hopefully i get to play.

The default settings is too high for me.I get a lot of micro lags and slowdowns.Totally no fun at all.

My game stopped crashing after I changed the compatibility mode to Win 98/2000. Been playing for 2 weeks without any hiccup. Try it bro.
*
Thanks man,i'll give it a shot.

Did you change the graphics setting with 98/2000 Compatibility?

No. Only the program's compatibility mode.

It's Windows 98/Windows Me to be precise  smile.gif

Hmmm, that might not work for me.

Anyway,i'll give it a shot.

For a game which is, for some reason, I feel so graphically demanding like this I managed to get a workaround for that, as an NVIDIA user.

The solution? 3D Settings in NVIDIA Control Panel. So yeah, the graphical lag I used to get especially while playing certain tracks like Autopolis Lakeside seems to have been reduced greatly. Thank goodness sweat.gif

For ATI users you might want to use ATI Catalyst to configure application 3D settings biggrin.gif
