From all the comments by sim fan, this game isnt even close to simbin title.
I am thinking of another reason for this, maybe is because all the cars dont hav realistic parameters input to the physics engine. So it came out semi-sim.. For example, something like unrealistic tyre grip value

for me this game are way not fast like grid. so unreal on this part.. driver 150km/h look so slow... summore stock car wont not stable like that.

i drive golf gti. and i drive real one before dam the game corner are real sucks

still like grid. grid are more realitics.

but shift can feel oversteer but the oversteer and understeer are way unreal as well.

i think u are the 1st to say grid is more realistic than shift

but have to understand that grid is fully fine tuned and modded car what.

all bar are in the car. light weight, fully mod , fully tunes,

sure u can said how can car do that corner and stuff.

but u can feel the different drive style if u pick RWD and FWD and FWD car.

but shift got improved but still the speed look dam slow. dont even feel like fast .

Actually, when u r driving in a real car, u also cannot feel that the car is going fast..... How do u know how fast u r going??? Just by looking at the speedometer..... SHIFT is actually imitating real world conditions and so far, they did a really good job in this aspect..... Last time I sat in a M5 which was driven by my fren and my fren is driving at 290km/h + turning and I dun feel that it is really fast if I look in front but when I turned my head to the sides, everything was like flashing by..... In SHIFT, same applies....

Honestly I'd say GRID has extreme speed issues. Most of the cars can't go that fast. For example the Audi R10 does not reach 360~370KM/h in real life. The fastest they did was 350KM/h with the during testing at LeMans. During race day to conserve tyres, they usually max out at 340Km/h, which was the record fastest ever they got out of an LMP1 car.
