Just the proc r different.
Yesterday i tried to play this game with all medium graphic quality setting and
guess what, the game hang.
After that i close the game and setting to lower and manage to play.
Then go back to hometown la...

eh linkin..camne ko boleh dapat pro ah? aku punya lap time 54.XX pn die bg experianced. (aku tak berapa follow best line.payah nak follow dengan setting asal yg diberi. straight line boleh la. corner selalu kena masuk lg dalam dari line die)

the satrt page, when it show NFS SHIFT, not even enter the main page to select any menu too.

daytonatkf: install physx or not? mesti intall tu. kalau taknak install, guna physx latest dari nvdia gc driver. yg satu file tu saiz die 120mb.

aku tuka balik setting tu. Fastest lap aku 52.xx lepas aku lower graphic. Masa tu lag gile.

compared to other games, yes. My baseline is always Richard Burns Rally. If the steering can feel remotely like what you get from it, I am happy.

btw, the KPGC10 wasn't called a skyline last time. it sucks in the game, especially at higher levels. in real life, its awsm!

im running fine on the worst combination of hardware evar = amd/ati with vista (a lot of problems with ATI drivers apparently) and i have not updated my drivers since june. no problems also ah. running smoothly XD

tapi..clutch macam berfungsi sgt bila masuk gear. manual + clutch pn kalau masuk gear tak pakai clutch pn boleh gak. aku lg suka kalau ea disable feature nih. bile masuk gear, xrase feel...tatau gear tu masuk lepas clurch in ke atau clutch pn tak sampai lg tp gear dah masuk

Aku auto je clutch. Malas nak fikir. Lagipun aku left foot braking. Throttle tak pernah lepas. Maybe sebab tu kot aku rasa keter cam nak spin je. Pastu aku dah cakap, aku mmg dapat experienced. tapi kan ko boleh tukar settng tu lepas set laptime.

linkin : The steering feel is not even close to Forza Motorsport 2 or even GT5P, that's why a friend of mine who bought Shift sold it right away. Oh, and he drifts real cars.

I know. I never said it feels real. But I did say I used Richard Burns as a benchmark, and it feels better than most game. Compared to GRID last time I can get the settings right, so I can't feel the car. With this it's better, but still no sim

oo...nampaknye aku pn dah pening. pening dengan segala macam masalah shift bawak.somehow, the AI tak la susah sangat.

jd linkin,ko punya recommended driving setting sama macam yg ko post beberapa page lepas? yg ade gambar tu.

That's why i LOL-ed at your earlier statement, in the game u don't really feel the shifting of weight, elevation changes or understeer and oversteer much. Better than most games? Not really lah... overstatement dah tu.

U guys play with controllers so good..... I'm still on mah keyboard..... Later I will test the wheel....

betul..grid masih lg paling best. AI grid lagi logik dari shift.

strongly agree and grid damage is more realistic in my opinion....its hard to total ur car in shift even ur speed up to 150 to bang d wall, u r still ok....

indeed, but maybe because of our different gaming backgrounds. For me I liked SHIFT's steering do to it being linear, compared to GRID's kinda slingshot effect's style. Not that I am dissing GRID. I liked GRID. Even if you read my review, I prefer if they had followed GRID in certain ways, such as the track, which is not 100% realistic (try Spa and you will like GRID's one better) and also the graphics, where you can run GRID on a PC with lower hardware config and yet get the same looks. But there are certain parts that I liked SHIFT better. FFB feels nice, and also as I said, steering is linear to how you turn, which in arcade game, is kinda hard to find. And yes, I do appreciate a well tuned car can't go faster than a real life one. Nobody can make the R35 go faster than 300KM/h, unless the track is long enough and you are running low drag.
