gotta agree with linkinstreet, if you're playing a simulator, you do NOT expect to crash

whats really funny to me is that it looks like even the AI was having problems driving fast consistently, seeing as how they seemed to come to a near dead stop at corners

QUOTE(Cheesenium @ Sep 12 2009, 04:50 PM) Yea,wheel does give an edge on driving, but wont it be damn hard to drive in rFactor with a keyboard? which is why there are other alternatives, such as a gamepad. if a wheel is too expensive or takes up too much space there's always other choices. It's like playing SF4 with a keyboard. |

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Sep 26 2009, 07:08 PM) a good example for fans of initial d would be keisuke's FD accelerator technique which he learned in that race against the black FD QUOTE(keretapir @ Sep 26 2009, 07:18 PM) haha...happy besday mr strife & bulibuli... haha, thanks mate. and good luck with the install, i'm running it on my 9600gt on win7, latest reso would be 1360x768, max aa and af. i tried it at 1600x900, it was relatively smooth, but decided not to be too greedy till i Frap it.i install mine tomorrow..just migrated to win 7..hopefully no prob as i using ati card QUOTE(redcable @ Sep 26 2009, 11:34 PM) yup, v1.1 or something, adds mouse support in menu, and lan gaming support. |

just finished a nice 4 hour torture session. i have to say, i HATE the medium AI. its like they got no brains, spin you out here, spin you out there. i have enough rage right now that if the AI programmer was walking down my street, i would gladly waltz out there and bludgeon him with my wheel >:[
oh btw, i also hate london's track. what i do LIKE is the s2000, tricky car to drive, but sweet like honey when you get the hang of it. for some reason, i thought it would be easier to drive if i got used to no assists and then switched back. for some reason now i find it easier to drive with all assists off than with any of them on |

for works conversion, when you are buying the car, check if there is a W icon in the car's title icon, the one which has the manufacturer logo i think. just like when searching drift cars, there's a drift logo as well.
