gotta agree with linkinstreet, if you're playing a simulator, you do NOT expect to crash you gotta know the track like the back of your hand, especially blind downhill curves like LS

thats under different aid settings when it comes to NFS the driving aids are off but visual aids like the minimap and arrows are still on.

which is why there are other alternatives, such as a gamepad. if a wheel is too expensive or takes up too much space there's always other choices.

sorry bro, i never ran shift on winxp, i've been using win7 for a few months now what i do know is that the pagefile usage is slightly higher in win7, so in theory the only thing that would be affected would be load times.

just finished a nice 4 hour torture session. i have to say, i HATE the medium AI. its like they got no brains, spin you out here, spin you out there. i have enough rage right now that if the AI programmer was walking down my street, i would gladly waltz out there and bludgeon him with my wheel >:[

what i do LIKE is the s2000, tricky car to drive, but sweet like honey when you get the hang of it. for some reason, i thought it would be easier to drive if i got used to no assists and then switched back. for some reason now i find it easier to drive with all assists off than with any of them on

for works conversion, when you are buying the car, check if there is a W icon in the car's title icon, the one which has the manufacturer logo i think. just like when searching drift cars, there's a drift logo as well.

thats cause your car sucks (and you do too by proxy) nice session yesterday btw, we did some time trials and generally had fun. before our next meeting i'll install the stage 2 stuff for my car and tune though was afraid to do it yesterday in case the car became uncontrable.
