QUOTE(roticanai92 @ Apr 17 2009, 09:11 PM) wow, u guys are good. Flash any 6.5 ROM. Currently none have TF3D as it's meant for testing the WM6.5 UI (which is good enough since I switched to S2P anyway)how to do tat? just cook the rom like normal will do? so we will lose the TF3D rite? Install 2 Cabs, then switch wallpapers. You get my style. You will lose easy access to the camera for now though. You can install skins for the dialer and WMP. Volume control (HTC version) also can be installed later on. |

6.5 ROM - use either uDK's 21500 or ND4SPD's 21500.
I couldn't download from Rapidshare due to the frikken crappy speed so I got the uDK's. Flash as usual. BACKUP AND SYNC YOUR PRECIOUS HONEY CONTACTS AND DOCS FIRST After that, go to the WM6.5 theme thread in XDA- Devs. Download & Install 2 cabs (Trustedcerts and the Mystic thingy) The really nice UI is the Windows 7 Titanium project with the Blue skin made by the same author. |

I dunno, does keeping RAM usage low help?

BTW, battery life is MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH better on 6.5 + Titanium than 6.1 + TF3D.
I'm still at 70% after 12 hours. Stock battery. Finally 1 whole day usage is okay. Idle RAM usage is 45% for 6.5 (ZOMG) vs 60-65% (and leakage) for 6.1. So RAM *is* the key, I think. This post has been edited by X.E.D: Apr 21 2009, 06:02 PM |

18 hours standby + calls + Windows Media Player + games (granted last few hours standby only)
Still at 70%. WHOA. That means 6.1 was FUBAR in terms of power consumption. 6.1 even without TF3D, never ran as long or cool as this Beta ROM. |

31 hours standby, I used the camera this morning, now still at 50++% @roticanai I believe flashing doesn't void your warranty, right? iPhone Jailbreak doesn't void the US warranty etc. |

There are no CDMA networks in Malaysia.
If your phone works then it's GSM. |

Mother... this phone refuses to die.
62hrs and still at 10%+. BTW, I like the new start menu, much less moronic than the old one, the old applications such as calendar etc now support finger swiping which is AMAZING in terms of user friendliness. This post has been edited by X.E.D: Apr 23 2009, 08:42 PM |

I'll sell for RM1050 with a final build of WinMo 6.5 and a very nice screen protector (NOT the original HTC one, a thicker better one applied a few days ago). Any takers?
(j/k, I love the DIAM100 much more now, but truth be told I don't see justifying its whole cost all the time- I barely use the core WinMo functions, playing with Palringo, Pocketwit, and games instead. Might as well get a Nokia 1100 Nah, moving to Singapore for uni actually. Phones will be cheap there. As in, new HTC Dream cheap *coughcoughcough* |

Palringo sucks battery life because of background process nature.
DO NOT USE. |

1 suggestion: Don't use TF3D
Another one- watch your background apps. Most ROMs come with a lot of extra BS that you'll probably never use. They cost you in both RAM and batt life. |
