i hv yet to fight flamelurker , but im ready for him , i got the purple shield that is good against fire enemies, and also the ring of fire resistance , got from the 2 dragon place in 1-1. cant wait for my rematch with flamelurker.
btw im just level 30 and below i think. running around with the hp and mp regen ring makes the game a lot more tolerable.

level 4 is quite fun with the flying mantas , not to mention the easy boss adjudicator .

let me try and tackle your question sir, weapons in demon's soul can be use by which ever class there is no restriction to equip it and start using it, BUT which class u choose will determine what stats u start with. weapons will rely on stats that u hv , sometimes u can equip a weapon but u hv negative stat when u wield that weapon. so u wouldn't want that. as for attack pattern , i never play MH in my life , but yeah attack pattern do varies for each weapons. btw a 1h weapon can be use as a 2h weapon , so ur thief can wield a dagger/sword/whatever using 2h. just press triangle for 2h the weapon.

i hope my explanation is correct.

soul , u need soul to level up at blackmaiden. just lvl 5 ? keep it up and u will get the whitemaiden in nexus too , thats when the fun starts.

yesterday while grinding 4-2 a black phantom broke in , came to me and bow , i bow back , then we proceed to kick each other ass. usually when i die i will restart the game ( yeah cheater bug got to me from reading this thread few page back ) anyway , i did die to that black phantom , but that was the most satisfying fight , i didnt restart , i just respawn back with low hp , hv to use cling ring now.

30 hour play time , level 56 and still going strong.

dlc new armour , weapon and magic , even get special move for each class. coolness. wishing out loud.

ok so let me get this straight to get pure white ( im trying for boletaria for the gate on the left to be open ) i cant hack in someone's world as a black phantom and get killed by the host anymore ? whole night trying with the wiki in front of me , huhu.

had a coop session with ajis , it was super fun , he was 54 i was 69 , killed maneater , easy2 . but i manage to fall down cause maneater push me .....


Towards Black:
- Die in the area while in soul form. (-0? seemed to be the case after patch 1.02)
- Die in the area while in human form. (-? major negative shift after patch 1.02)
- Use the Black Eye Stone to invade a game and successfully defeat another player. (-0.5)
- Kill harmless NPC. (-0.5) - Old King Doran.
- Kill by an invading Black Phantom. (-0.5)
- You are summoned as a Blue Phantom, die during co-op. (-0.2)
- The Blue Phantom that is summoned is killed. (-0.5)

Towards White:
- Get summoned as a Blue Phantom, successfully help the host. (+0.5)
- Use the Black Eye Stone to invade a game and get killed by the host. (+0? doesn't work anymore after patch 1.02)
- Defeat Demon boss in this area. (+?? seemed to improved much more after patch 1.02)
- Defeat NPC Black Phantom. (+0.5)
- Defeat Black Phantom player that invaded. (+0.5)
- Defeat Primeval Demons. (+0.5)
- Didn't die, defeat sufficient enemies and return to Nexus (+0.1) (not confirmed)
- Resurrect a Blue Phantom with the Resurrect Miracle (+0) (nothing to do with World Tendency, instead, move Character Tendency towards white.)

cheers, oh yeah i can clarify that doing coop as a blue phantom and killing demon boss , doesnt seems to change my world tendency to white at all.
and there seems to be an unwritten code of ethics for me at least , last night broke into someone world as black phantom , saw the person fighting miralda black phantom. so what do u usually do ? take advantage and wack the person kawkaw ? or wait till he finish and then proceed to wack him kawkaw? as for me i waited till his fight finish.

this was instill to me by another black phantom. he did the same to me. waited for me until i finish my fight. then bow then wack me.

i think new patch they changed la ajis, thats why i can 69 u , errrr i mean coop with u

aku selalu je guna trick tekan ps button tu , tp kadang2 aku rs lg best main dlm soul form , sbb boleh masuk jd blue dgn black phantom kalau bosan2. apa la sgt 75% HP tu , guna cincin yg hp regen dgn adjucator shield HP naik cepat je. aku rs lg best main dlm soul form sampai kan aku saja2 bunuh diri haha. HP 100% tp skill tk de pun tk guna jugak kan. so tk de hal main HP 75% tu.

1 je kelebihan bila main dgn HP 100% ni , masa tu je la ko boleh invite org masuk world ko utk tolong ko lawan boss. tu je la. tp masa tu jugak la black phantom boleh masuk world ko dan "main" dgn ko.

Added on March 30, 2009, 2:05 amany class is also same , different is just the starting equipment and the stat u get at the beginning. after playing it u can distribute any way u want for the stat and use any armour weapon , provided ur stat is enough to use it properly , u still can equip any weapon and armour but then according to ur stats some may hv negative effect when u equip it.

there is no special ability or restriction if u choose any class. although it would be great if they can give each class a special move just to differentiate between the classes. but nothing like that exist in this game. (yet)

gratz doodleman wanna coop with me , wanna test if 208 can coop with 69 or not.

not now , im in office now huhu...

go up the stairs , kill all the archer around the area 1st , then go back down and dodge him as well as u can while aiming for his ANKLE. hit his ankle until he goes down , when he is down target his head and hit his head. takes a lot of patience timing and skill. u can do it. now go do it.

why not someone get a chatroom started on psn , and invite ppl that regularly play demon's soul to that room , so the room will be saved in ur ps3 , everytime we want to play together its easier to find ppl and communicate in that room. b4 the chatroom update in the 2.70 firmware , me and ajis exchange msg which is troublesome. but in the end we got coordinated and meet somewhere in game.

btw to all new players , welcome to demon's soul - keep it up , many hv sold their game because cant cope with the difficulty . But u guys wont !!!! keep it up

depends on what style u like , if u like brute force melee type , or shoot from far type , or whatever , choose accordingly.

thats normal , its actually a boss fight , in this game there is 1 stage where u are the boss that fight the human player playing his stage. sometime like that. doesnt get next gen then that for me.

u got that hat because u won . thats ur prize . hehehe enjoy .

i dont think so u can defeat the 1st boss when u just started the game.
