Do we really need another addition to our already exploding midfield squad?

Moment of the weekend - Man Utd's landmark

Manchester United set a new Premier League record of 11 successve clean sheets with another shut-out in the 5-0 win over West Brom on Tuesday.

Edwin van der Sar and United's defence eclipsed Chelsea's record for consecutive clean sheets with another commanding display at the Hawthorns.

United have not conceded a league goal since the 2-1 defeat at Arsenal in November and their defensive strength has been the driving force behind their rise to the top of the table

If Van der Sar and co keep out Everton for 72 minutes on Saturday the Dutchman will break the Football League record of 1,103 minutes, set by Steve Death for Reading in 1979.

berba n tevez are starting to click n they are in quite a rich form now. but wat bout rooney?i mean wen he's back. who would SAF play den?since rooney is our most consistent striker as well.
*
It's safe to bet SAF will give priority to Roonatov whenever both are fit and in form. Roon will be eased back into the first team on sub basis just to be safe and Teveth might soon warm the bench again.

Then there's a possibility we play all 4 of Roon, Berb, Tevz, Ronl up front but our defence and width might suffer. Our fullbacks and central mid will need to be in absolute top form for this to work.

VDS
Nev - Rio - Vid - Evr
Fle - Car
Ron - Ber - Tev
Roo

(Ber = playmaking axis around which the other 3 rotate freely; almost like an AM in front of two DMs)

We do not need another striker too unless Tevez leaves. Give Campbell, Petrucci, Macheda a chance to fight with Welbeck. nod.gif

Among those 4 that you've mentioned, my thoughts are saying probably 2 of them are ready .. Welbeck and Campbell.

p/s : Don't forget THE MANUCHO, otherwise sheep will be haunting you. laugh.gif

About this weekend match against Everton, to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if somehow Rooney played part in it. I am just hoping that Evra and Rafael to play. That would mean more attacking to our style of play. I wouldn't mind if Fabio to start as well. A right footed left back. Class!! brows.gif

According to the list, Evra, Rooney and Nani could be available. Plus Fabio and Welbeck is 'very doubtful'. We already knew that what does that term means in Fergie's mind games.
