A convincing win over WBA. Good for our away record. Now we're level on GD with Chelsea. Hoping for this form to continue.

I thought our CM pairing played well.

the problem is astro not change yet! mad.gif ESS has changed it!so,dunno will have live or not?! hmm.gif

ESS is one of the turnaround channels in ASTRO packages. So, whatever changes on ESS, ASTRO must follow and that is because ESS is the TV station while ASTRO is something like the middleman or WIFI extender(in IT terms).

Everton's winning. Hoping that we could win over them on the weekend! Oh wait, Van Persie just scored.

QUOTE(Benitez on Skysports)
Challenge

And Benitez has revealed that he has been holding talks with two players - possibly Keane and Agger - urging the duo to remain willing to help Liverpool's Premier League, UEFA Champions League and FA Cup challenge.

"I have been talking with two very important players recently, I made it very clear that we must focus only on games and think about how to win every single game," added the former Valencia boss.

"We have a fantastic opportunity, we can win three trophies and any one would be good for our fans and ourselves. We must try to be professional and concentrate only on games.

"The players are not affected by things off the field. When we talk it is about football, not about other problems

"The only way to change things is on the pitch, not talking, talking, talking."

Okay .. focus only on games? FACT.
Talk about football, not other problems? FACT.
Change things on the pitch, not talking, talking, talking? FACT

Thank you Benitez, you really made a fool of yourself. You succumbed to SAF's mind games which I don't think there was one. Focus only on games? Talk about football and not other problems? What about the list that you made on SAF? Change things on the pitch? Yup, you sure did change things on the pitch now. As someone has said previously(kobe, I think), Liverpool is almost back to its best, the usual form.

It's good to celebrate but the league is far from over. Don't get too carried away guys. We need to be consistent from now on. Win games and take advantages anywhere, anytime and anyhow possible. If somewhere in April, we're still on top of the table and the gap is immense between us and the second place, only then I'll be optimistic for us to win the title.

For the time being, anything could happen.

just to change the topic.... anyone saw the beck's goal against genoa?.. superb freekick... link

YUP. Saw that one already. Always know and thought the guy's a class act. Due to bust up with Fergie, he couldn't stay put. Always a fan of his FK.

I must say GK of Genoa wasn't alert enough and really didn't know the phrase of "Bend it Like Beckham". Haha.

On another note, Fergie's post match interview with Skysports indicating that Evra and co are returning from injury. So, we might just see Evra against Everton this weekend.

That's certainly the view from your side of the fence. The day could come when it's used as a Liverbird laughing at other people. I'd probably have to wait till the cows come home, but the day could come. Sometime. Hopefully in the not too distant future. This century would be nice.  laugh.gif

How about this one Kat?

Got this one from The Caf ..

Good to know our title rivals dropping points but at the same time we must keep up our consistency and performance.

Take it 1 game at a time and see where it bring us to when May 2009 come  nod.gif

Yup, like I've told these guys. February till April are where the real tests lies. If we excel around this period, I'm pretty much sure we can defend the title.

You guys already talking about gathering when there is no certainty that Astro will reschedule the live broadcast from the current wrong schedule which is 03/02 03:54AM?

blink.gif
*
ESS has scheduled for the match to broadcasted live. It is even being informed by Andrew Leci after City's match last night. ASTRO won't have any other choice. I've already explain on this rite?

ESS is the content provider while ASTRO is just a local service provider. So whatever that is being broadcasted on ESS will certainly being shown on ASTRO. So really, no worries there.

Yeah alien. I would like to know as well ..

QUOTE(MyDevil @ Jan 30 2009, 10:34 AM)
We do not need another striker too unless Tevez leaves. Give Campbell, Petrucci, Macheda a chance to fight with Welbeck.  nod.gif

Among those 4 that you've mentioned, my thoughts are saying probably 2 of them are ready .. Welbeck and Campbell.

p/s : Don't forget THE MANUCHO, otherwise sheep will be haunting you. laugh.gif

About this weekend match against Everton, to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if somehow Rooney played part in it. I am just hoping that Evra and Rafael to play. That would mean more attacking to our style of play. I wouldn't mind if Fabio to start as well. A right footed left back. Class!! brows.gif

According to the list, Evra, Rooney and Nani could be available. Plus Fabio and Welbeck is 'very doubtful'. We already knew that what does that term means in Fergie's mind games.

rather play o'shea and brown as fullbacks.. fellaini and cahill is great in the air
but i believe if we play our own game they couldnt do anything smile.gif

IMO,

Fabio to LB - Attack and defence, Rio to cover him.
Brown to CB - Evans is missing, Brown can play his natural position. If Rio starts, we might see him on RB.
Rafael to RB - Attack and defence, Vida to cover him.

But I would think that SAF will play Sheasy on the LB.

The thing with SAF is, he's signing people which can do the right job for him. This post was taken from The Caf. I agreed to his opinion.

Source : The Sun.

Even if it's bollocks from those journos, I agreed on the bolded part.
