Tevez? Good luck to him. We'll miss a quality 3rd striker for sure, but we can get replacement in. It's ok either way for me whether he stays or not.

All those won't matter if we don't end up winning at least one or two of the big ones. But we are looking good atm. Inter will be a good test whether we have what it takes in Europe.

not MU fan here but allow me to say this
i really think this could be a 5-trophy season for MU
domestically , league & FA cups, and EPL should be theirs
this most serious obstacle to 5-trphies is CL, where the Barcelona firepower may stand in their way. but MU defence is superb, they shld prevail

For once, I've actually liked seeing Mourinho talk about us regarding Ronaldo.

Yup, especially the UCL, it's just the round of 16. I'm anxious yet I'm worried too. I'm taking 1 game at a time as I still think it's too early yet.

My feeling.. Is that we have already spent the budget on Berba. The Tevez deal was dead the moment that happened. Time for Welbeck, maybe Campbell, very unlikely Manucho laugh.gif to step up into the 3rd striker role.

I really want Tevez to stay, I really do. But looking at it at an economic perspective, it doesn't make sense to spend 32million (if the figures bandied about are true) on a third choice striker. Berba-Rooney will always be the preferred combination for many years to come, and I only see Tevez stepping in when there are injuries or a need for rotation. It seems unfair to have such a talent become a second stringer. If we have the finances to seal the deal, of course I'd hope for him to be signed asap, but all these procrastination and media talk has gotten my hopes down a bit and I fear he might be let go in the summer. Whatever it is, he's done great service to the club and will forever be remembered. He's endeared himself to the club, and so the club to himself, and wherever he goes he'll be a Devil in heart.

Gill, if you're reading this, free up some moolah for him puhlease.

Well, this looks like a job for,

THE ARABS!

Blagh. If we let Tevez go, we'd be stuck without a backup striker. That kid? Who's that kid? I don't know any kid.

It could be a wise choice to go and risk 32m for him, but at the same time, by an economical perspective, it's not worth it.

So right now, it's SAF's choice whether he wants to take the risk or not.

Well, Manucho is actually the 2nd oldest in the group you mentioned there, with Berbatov only 2 years older at 28

Can't help but agree with most of the above points. The two old champs seem to be top of their game and our defense has been top top top top notch. It's weird that I'm scared to say that we might get a real record out of this football year.

Just really excited, that's all! >_<
