QUOTE(Zen-X @ Jan 29 2009, 05:39 AM) Whoa ... true. Too bad that Chelsea won though. Anyhooo ... GET IN THERE! Everton's winning. Hoping that we could win over them on the weekend! Oh wait, Van Persie just scored. QUOTE(Benitez on Skysports) Challenge And Benitez has revealed that he has been holding talks with two players - possibly Keane and Agger - urging the duo to remain willing to help Liverpool's Premier League, UEFA Champions League and FA Cup challenge. "I have been talking with two very important players recently, I made it very clear that we must focus only on games and think about how to win every single game," added the former Valencia boss. "We have a fantastic opportunity, we can win three trophies and any one would be good for our fans and ourselves. We must try to be professional and concentrate only on games. "The players are not affected by things off the field. When we talk it is about football, not about other problems "The only way to change things is on the pitch, not talking, talking, talking." Okay .. focus only on games? FACT. Talk about football, not other problems? FACT. Change things on the pitch, not talking, talking, talking? FACT Thank you Benitez, you really made a fool of yourself. You succumbed to SAF's mind games which I don't think there was one. Focus only on games? Talk about football and not other problems? What about the list that you made on SAF? Change things on the pitch? Yup, you sure did change things on the pitch now. As someone has said previously(kobe, I think), Liverpool is almost back to its best, the usual form. This post has been edited by boxsystem: Jan 29 2009, 06:13 AM |

It's good to celebrate but the league is far from over. Don't get too carried away guys. We need to be consistent from now on. Win games and take advantages anywhere, anytime and anyhow possible. If somewhere in April, we're still on top of the table and the gap is immense between us and the second place, only then I'll be optimistic for us to win the title.
For the time being, anything could happen. This post has been edited by boxsystem: Jan 29 2009, 07:05 AM |

@ corez : will be at pangkor this saturday.. so i cannot join the gathering (if any) @ box : yes, we r far away from the end.. but we still should enjoy for all of this.. winning streak, record clean sheet in epl, won 5-0, ronaldo keep scoring back, other rivals lose, rio-brown-pjs come back etc.. |

While our game against Everton is important, I think Sunday will be a decisive moment in the title race. If Chelsea and Pool cancel each other out, it could be there and then
