guess it depends on your usage pattern. more topup/usage=more chance of getting invite.
same as the pick-a-pack, i got all 5 packs to choose from but some of my friend only got just 2 or 3 displayed.

Xpax site says prepaid international roaming is pre-activated. Does this means that i dont have to dial or subscribe any thing to receive calls/sms when in overseas? Eg in thailand
*
last time i go to indonesia no need to activate whatsoever. roaming is preactivated by default.

rclxms.gif where more info i can get about c1m?
currently using postpaid maxis, need to terminate 1st b4 mnp?
*
u can do it at any celcom centre and yes u need to pay any balance overdue with your current telco, if got contract, need to terminate it first.

but i also read in their forum that availability to mnp to cecom 1malaysia is only till the end of this month. not sure if its true or not, celcom staff got this habit of giving false or contradict info doh.gif

Have u subscribe to XClub? What are the benefits? I tried to search xpax site, but there's nothing on it on what we'll get... Only state longer u stay, better benefits doh.gif
*
i think they will give free credit/calls/sms/data depending on your usage ie how much u topup and how long have u been with them.
i just registered today and got 10 free sms for same network, useable for 24hours. yes they implement time limit for the free stuff, not too honest to begin with wink.gif

My mom kena charged for Data roaming while in Vietnam, everyday I check her phone while in Vietnam to make sure Data Roaming is off, only normal Packet Data is ON.. only used wifi in hotels..

any solution? She is using Galaxy W..
*
u should've also turn off the "normal" packet data too.
theorically when "normal" packet data is on but data roaming is on, phone wont try to connect at all when it detect simcard is connected to roaming network. but since we're talking about software, there could be bug/data leaks where it would also connect even when data roaming is off, probably pinging few kilobytes of data before realizing its on roaming. safest way is to disable both "normal" packet data and data roaming alltogether.

How do I block (cut-off/disable) internet on my SIM card? Can Celcom do that?
*
u can't, and they can't too. all simcard got data activated by default and can't be deactivated. but if u use android phone, just empty the apn setting, delete all apn.

Hi guys,

Currently I'm using Celcom First Prime (RM40) + mBasic (RM38) and I'm planning on changing to their prepaid plans since I noticed that it has became cheaper these days. A couple of questions though.

1. I know that we can change from prepaid to postpaid but can we change from postpaid to prepaid?
2. If the answer to 1 is Yes, would there be a reduction in call/3g quality upon changing to prepaid?
*
i think they wont allow u to downgrade from postpaid to prepaid. postpaid made u paid more, so they wont let u paid less. but if u insist u can always port out to umobile prepaid then port back to celcom prepaid. shouldn't be no difference on call and data quality between postpaid and prepaid, but nowadays celcom prepaid got no unlimited data no more, after quota finish will charge payu.
