use moth balls to absorb water vapour IIRC.
You IIRC wrong... naphthalene transition from solid to gas without going through liquid phase. The naphthalene gas keep the bugs away. It does not absorb water vapor....

QUOTE(GarethXL @ Oct 30 2009, 08:31 PM)
or use hungry hippo in the cabinate
These absorb water, but be-careful of those that release perfume or antibacterial/fungal component... These are very corrosive/acidic/oxidative.... may corrode metal components.

QUOTE(Parody @ Oct 31 2009, 01:09 AM)
those free silicon gel you get from food packages, shoe boxes, etc, works well also...
Actually its Silica gel is right for absorption of vapor/liquid/reduce humidity.... dehydrate it by microwave before use or re-use (to activate it). But there are those that use clay (instead of silica gel) to absorb H2O.... these most probably cannot be reactivated/reuse...

Very knowledgeable. *salute*

but wait, why keep moth balls in display cabinet if they only keeps bug away? Lol.
Though unlikely... cockroaches can/may consume/damage plastic materials lay eggs and shit...

ohh didn't know you can reuse desiccant by microwaveing them thanks.
Lower heat 50 to 70%... remove them from the plastic begs (as they will melt).. cloth/cotton maybe ok.. Microwave will be fast but may cause the gel beads to crack..

oven will do too... set maybe 105 degrees for an hour or so...

Aik.. IIRC majority of the characters in Ikkitousen are high schoolers?
Secondary schools in Japan are divided to middle and high school....It being Ryomou in middle school before acquiring the eye patch (from fighting Ryubi).

Short hair & patch eye Ryomou ... in high school

To be exact/more detailed... Black Friday is for first 500... it started at around 10pm, Fri, Mal time, front page on HLJ's site at about 12am to about noon or so the next day.... so around 14hours of sale time (not so sure when they stopped..) processing/shipping of orders will be from 30th onwards...

the black friday was the best deal ever

1st 500 customer get 25% discount on the normal priced items (instock only)
Yes, and I was 3 of 500 customers... It's small window though, to get things below RM 500 (with the all-time high Yen), + one one sale item and another or more with at least 25% discount, did not manage to take advantage on "the in-stock non-discounted items" though (as my items are 50 to 90% discounted)...

25% off rivals amiami's price, no-handling & shipping charges, beats them all (mostly)...

Haha rather than HLJ, it's more like that they fell threatened when amiami start offering SAL shipment too tongue.gif
Amiami use registered SAL... (700 yen extra)... and another 500 yen for handling(checking their site again, 500 yen handling fee statement seems gone from their site)

How did you do that? >_<

I got the free shipping thing too. Ordered one shipment of stuff, then waited a day before ordering the second, but they still lump it into one shipment anyway >_<

Will be hard to fight with kastam on shipment not exceeding RM500 as they calculate shipping (as state on box) with goods. Was successfully in proving/arguing for one... one was unsuccessful and 3 now being held in kastam (ready to fight them with proves).

Anyone else reporting-in their experience or success??...
