Today I got a chance to share some indoor shots with another 2 other Lumix camera (FX & FZ). Got to admit that, the 1-stop advantage really come in handy and very useful. Same lighting, LX-3 retain the lower ISO100-160, while the other 2 boost up to ISO400.

i'm trying to update firmware v1.2 for my sis lx3, copied the firmware .bin file into the sd card root directory. turn on the camera, it doesn't detect new firmware.
her firmware is v1.0 now... do i need update v1.1 first? but i can't find v1.1 anymore. |

u need to set the button to play icon (photos preview) instead of camera icon (live view) 1st before u on the LX3.
btw- updated straight from v1.0 > v1.2 no prob. at all This post has been edited by ticke: Jan 30 2009, 08:49 PM |

I have problem updating to V1.2 also.
Already using V1.1 but the process didn't fully complete. The cam shut down when updating when it should've restarted. The firmware reads V1.1 on the cam, but not sure if it fully updated. Anyway, when I tried to update to V1.2, the cam just doesn't recognize the *.bin file for V1.2. Dammit..... Is there anyway to go back to V1.0? |

Panasonic Leica LX-3?
something wrong here, it should be Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 , no? if Leica name is involved, then it's Leica D-Lux 4. |
