lol, I'm not really good in flash even when the time i'm using DSLR.

I'm not really sure whether did TTL works with LX3 or not (i think it works) but i dun really like TTL.

If u ok by using manual, there is option for u to adjust the Guide Number, GN, that's to adjust the power of the flash.

...
Yeah i use it in Manual mode. smile.gif
So GN is the power of the flash hmm.. ok.
I tried to set the GN to max it's darn bright and took dem long to recharge. tongue.gif
So with the omni-bounce diffuser on do i still need to use direct flash? What i heard is omni-bounce is good for all situation hmm.

Omnibounce is good to be used when u have to use direct flash in some situation which bouncing is not possible.

But personally, i still prefer the light from bouncing as it is more natural

Definitely! If it is suitable for idiot like me, it will work for everyone tongue.gif The iA is superb that makes u shot "almost like" a pro. As u gain experience, it has tons of fun for u to play with. And if u turn pro one day, u can still use it as a very good Macro camera (instead of carrying an extra Macro lens that is $$$, hard to use, and as big as the LX3)

The 24mm wide and very fast lens can take very nice indoor shoots. Although the zoom is quite limited, u can always get a very cheap Tele add on to extend it (but I seldom use mine though). Landscape is superb with very nice and rich color even in iA mode.

If u do notice, a lot of LX3 owner is very experience DSLR user that use it as a casual camera, or to complement their DSLR.

A warning though! the iA works very well that makes me get lazier day after day. So one day I'll become newbie again! icon_question.gif

Play with it, and discover the fun of photography. If u really into it, and reached the bottleneck, then it's the time to upgrade to a DSLR (or Micro 3/4? smile.gif and still keep the LX3 as ur memories. thumbup.gif

Just got back from Pulau Redang. The pics I took looked great on the camera's LCD when I was there, but when I viewed it on my PC, it looked dark. Anybody know how to fix this?
